I've been voluntarily on a low gluten diet for a little over half a year now to help lower the my incidence of headaches and migraines. I still have soy sauce, vitamins with gluten, and don't worry about cross-contamination. I cheat at least once a month. But now my neurologist thinks it's likely that I am a celiac. He didn't test me because I've... -
I don't throw up but I gag alot and it takes alot of effort not to throw up. Does anyone have similar experiences with the migraines? Is it linked to the Gluten? I've already found problems with my diet on this site today (Vegemite, the other aussies here will understand my pain)... and I'm wondering how much gluten has to answer for.

I understand being hungry all the time and eating the gluten-free treats---they are made with rice flour, which leaves you hungry an hour later. Try eating foods with more fiber, like bananas, apples, wild rice. Also have more protein. Nuts, legumes, and low fat meat. These will help you feel fuller for longer.

It sounds like there are a lot of children and care providers at the preschool, which can lead to confusion, and cross-contamination. If things (and stools) don't improve, it might be time to find a new daycare provider, perhaps a private in-home one that can give your sons much more personalized care. I'm new to this whole gluten-free thing, but I've eaten there several times and it is good. I personally love the pesto-mayonaise. But again, I don't know if they are a gluten-free-free restaraunt.

Doesn't ketchup contain gluten? And you really do need more vareity and calories. Try visiting a health food store or make an appointment with a licenced nutritionist. -
I'm trying a gluten and dairy-free diet in an effort to reduce my migraines, which I get as often as 3 or 4 times a week. Has anyone else had success in this approach?

Try taking 50 mg of Topamax at night, before going to sleep, and another 25 mg in the morning. I don't know how you are able to function with so much Topamax in your system during the day. You also might try Propanol as a daily med to help in the prevention. I find that Maxalt works when I have an attack, but you might respond to something else. Of course...
