  1. I had the best time! I had the naked chicken fingers with the bbq sauce. Being new to this I was afraid to venture out on my own. I also ate a ton of celery. Thanks for all yall's help!
  2. YUM! Both of those sound great!
  3. I am planning to go to Wild Wings Bar & Grill with some friends this weekend. Does anyone know if anything on their menu is gluten free? I checked the website, but the only thing I could figure would be safe was the grilled chicken salad (no croutons). Please help! They already think I have some eating disorder since I have lost so much weight lately...
  4. Well poo ! I hardly ever think of cc, but I guess I need to start. At first I was just so concerned with cutting out the obvious! Guess it would be a horrible idea to eat from a place that is covered in bread. I really want to have a good time at the game. Does Earth Fare have a deli or something where I can pick up some lunch or any other other suggestions...
  5. I have a huge addiction to Jersey Mike's. Do you know if the meats, cheese, etc is gluten free? We are going to Game Day on Saturday and we always get Jersey Mike's before a game. I was hoping to just get all the "good stuff" and put it on some bread I pick up from Earth Fare. Thanks!
  6. Agreed... 100%! Burt's Bee's Hand Salve has been great at keeping my hands hydrated. I just slather it on at night and put on gloves. Also, Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Therapy is great. I carry it with my everywhere. If you have really dry peeling places on your hands (and also common on your arms & face), it might be eczema. See you dr for a prescription...
  7. I would love to join your group. I live in Greenwood, but go to school at USC for my master's. I'm there at least once and month and I have been at a loss as to where to eat (count out the Salty Nut unfortunately). Great to meet you!
  8. Hi! I am new to this and would like to meet some new people to share ideas about restaurants, health food stores, and good southern cooking!
  9. I do too, but my gyno thought it was due to endometriosis and hormones only. I had a (unsucessful)laproscopy a year ago and it's gotten worse. My dx then changed to endometriosis and pelvic congestion. Hopefully it will improve with being gluten free.
  10. I guess you live and learn! Thanks for saving me from a tremendous amount of pain. I know it seems like I am asking tons of stupid questions (at least I feel I am), but my doctor told me to try the diet and didn't really give me any information. This site has been a life saver!
  11. Last Tuesday, I got glutened... BAD! Being new to this I thought, "Oh Chicken and Rice soup, I can have that." Not so, I found out about 1 hour later. Since then I have been sick and broken out on my arms with those little bumps. I switched back to baby shampoo and body wash and the rash has cleared up significantly. However, I am still feeling a little sluggish...
  12. Hi! I'm new here and don't know if this is the right place to post, but does anyone else notice that some foods and drinks bother you more than others? Certain foods will leave me cramping and hurting for days, but some foods just make me feel a little tired? Also, does anyone have some problems with small white bumps on their arms after being glutened? My...
