    My prayers are with you!! I hope this diet will help her!! My son had the big belly...it took a few weeks maybe even alittle bit longer to go away. I hope things get better real soon!!!

    Thank you so much!!! I am feeling alittle better about taking this trip...sometimes it just feels alittle overwhelming...as you all know I never even thought about bringing the toaster...great idea!! He usually is a good eater and will eat well but he has not been wanting to eat much of anything these days. Seems to just want to pick at his food...hopefully...

    I am headed on a road trip with my 2 year old, we will be driving up north about 10 hours than staying in a hotel for a few days. I have not been far from home since we found out he was Celiac a year ago. I don't even no where to begin as far as eating out on the road. I have requested to have a fridge in the hotel room, they said I could also use the microwave...

    I too was very touched by this!! Not only does it give hope to the parents of children with Autism but also puts even more awareness on the effects of gluten!!! I am curious to see if her new book has detailed information on the diet. I admire her passion & dedication!!

    I am trying to help my brother find a Dr. in the Victorville area. He has had symptoms of Celiac for years but has always been told it was IBS & Anxiety. My son was recently diagnosed so I told my brother he should get tested as well. His Dr. won't test him and again said IBS and to avoid foods that trigger it.     Keri, I hope things get better soon!! In the begining I remember going through my kitchen and throwing everything out and running to the grocery store in search of gluten free foods that a toddler would eat (most are picky) the first time I was in the store for almost 3 hours...in tears the whole time. I pretty much at first gave him things like gluten...

    I use the Walmart frozen boneless chicken breasts and they say gluten free on the bag. It was so nice to find that Walmart's Great Value brand will put gluten free on the products. Makes shopping so much easier!!
