I have the cookbook and I'd love to type all the recipes for everyone but dont know if it is legal!
  2. Hi I have the same issues. I have gained a total of 6 lbs but it comes and it goes depending on being glutened or not! I have hair loss also and trying to figure out if it is due to a lack of vitamine that is still not being absorbed. Are you feeling better?
  3. Hi everyone has anyone tried cooking with coconut flour? I just bought the book cooking with coconut flour by Bruce Fife and have been using it everyday the food is delicious and healthy!
  4. Hi Megz, Sorry to hear you feel that way..but I am also glad because I am going thru the exact same thing. Same symptoms too. I was diagnosed at the end of Nov. 2006 and I am still not feeling all that better. One thing I would like to let you know is that I did get a reaction from Swiss Chalet's chicken. I'm sorry to dissapoint you. I also read your other post and thank you for contacting Tim Horton's you made my day. lol Hope you feel better soon and keep me posted if you find any good stores/doctors/books in the area! Melanie
  5. Hi Everyone, This past week I have had pain in my neck, mostly inside it feels like I have a lump when I swallow and sometimes the bottom of my neck is very painful. I cant determine if this is problems with my thyroid because lot of the symptoms are the same as Celiac. I was just diagnosed in November 06 and still feeling pretty crappy. Any advise or info from anyone would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Hi I am also from Canada, Smooth Rock Falls, Ontario, but currently living in Kincardine. I am also still a teenager if you add 16 + 16. Wouldnt it be great if there was a "Canada Only Site" so we could put all Canadian Information in one central location??? Welcome to the board..its a great place to learn
  7. Can anyone tell me if Dry Mustard is gluten Free? Thanks
  8. I am also wondering and confused...Let me know if you get any post.
  9. Can anyone tell me if Food Colouring & Natural & Artificial Flavour are safe. I'm getting conflicting information from all over. Thank you
  10. I too felt the same way, I also had panic attacks and anxiety. I went to see a naturopath and he put me on about 8different vitamins. I noticed the difference within a week. Even though I've been glutened now, I don't get that depressed/brain fog/anxiety feelings anymore.
  11. What does indigestion feel like? Where does it hurt? Trying to figure out if that is my problem? Thanks Melanie
  12. Hi everyone, wishing you all a HappyNew Year. When glutened, does anyone get the feeling that your chest is full of mucous?
  13. Hi,my mother is the same as yours except she is addicted to prescription drugs. That's a whole other story. I am currently reading a book called "Emotional Blackmail". It teaches boundaries for people like that and is helping me. When I was pregnant its like it turned on some switch in my mom. She was so bad it caused lots of stress for my family. Hope this helps. Melanie
  14. I too feel the same way as you do. I have felt good for 2 days now but am afraid to do anything to "jinx" it. Just know you are not alone.... I can't wait for the old me to be back, but I do know Iwill have to work hard at it. Wishing you all the strength and courage. Melanie
