    Ok I made homemade chicken nuggets for my daughter today...and she loved them! I used rice flour, little onion powder,salt and pepper. They really tasted great! I baked them. They were a little dusty still. Any suggestions for that? Less dreging maybe? mrsfish

    Years ago I used to work for a McDonald's. and YES they do fry their fries in a separate fryer. I used to be the "fry girl". And they still do ... to this day. I remember they used to use peanut oil to fry the fries. But because of those with peanut allergies...they switched oils. I remember they even replaced the fryer.\ Just wanted to add this...

    My daughter has been going through an elimination diet. But she constantly gets this rash. It is not red or pink. It just is little white pimple like skin irritation. It is consintrated on her chest but has a little all over. She doesn't have it when she wakes in the morning. But as soon as she eats...even gluten-free items she gets it. She also get...

    My son is allergic to eggs. My daughter is allergic to dairy. What do you suggest I use as a subsitute? My daughter used to live on Chicken nuggets. It was the only protein I could get ther to eat. Any help would be great! mrsfish

    Thanks. I have tried the Quinoa pastas...and they are great! My daughter didn't even notice the difference in taste. We are just starting the gluten-free diet. I was pleased too. It has corn and quinoa. The texture is a little different but not much. I guess I will just have to try it in a bread mix. My daughter seldom will eat meats...so yes I am...

    Would Celiac "wheat allergy" show up on those prick tests you get at the allergist? I know I have read about it somewhere but I can't remember. mrsfish

    My daughter has been waking up for 4 days with hives. We have eliminated foods from her diet. We even thought it might be her ployester night gown. But she woke up with hives worse than before!!! Can anyone help? mrsfish

    This may not have anything to do with what happend but...did you cook the steak on a non-stick pan. If so, have you heard of the "teflon flu". Teflon will actually make you sick if you inhale too many of the fumes. It will make you think you had food poisioning. I learned this recently on a DATELINE eposide.     I have read that I need to be careful of gluten residue, so does that mean I have to replace all my cookwear? Or will a good washing do? I know I will have to replace my toaster.     Help! My daughter has tested positive for celiac disease. But the GI DR. wants to do a biopsy...does she really need to?...if a blood test comes back positive. I would love to hear about what other parents feel or if they went through it. mrsfish
