  1. Are these tests the golden standard, or are there any (or many) cases of false negatives? I'm suffering from textbook Celiac conditions, and there are many people in my immediate family with the same thing. Still waiting on the results for my DH test, but the anti-body tests were definitely negative.
  2. Does anyone have hypothyroid like symptoms, or on the opposite end severe anxiety to the point of hot flashes?
  3. Maybe it's not DH. My back looks identical to this, which is DH Open Original Shared Link However when you get closer, I'm noticing that a lot of pictures of Dermetitis Herpetiformis are small bubbley blisters. My stuff is more of an itchy scab, that happens to be dry and crusty. It can easily be peeled off, and it underneath it's moist (watery...
  4. I'm pretty sure he took a lesion, because he said, "this looks like a good active lesion to take" or something like that. He knew what Celiac was, and he had an a med student with him who started going on about Celiac cases. I didn't wanna be like, by the way this is how you do a biopsy. Ok. I'm looking at my back. It looks like he took a sample...
  5. I was born into a family with a history of several diseases. Thyroid disorders, coronary disease, and autoimmune disease (Rheumatoid Arthritis). For the last 3 years my health has deteriorated, being 17 at that time. Fast forward to about 2 months ago, about the time I discovered Celiac. I decided to give the gluten free diet a try, and about 2-3 weeks...

Since i learned that the tests were negative, I've been eating anything again. I didn't notice anything sudden, but my diarrhea and bloating have come back. I've also gained...
  7. Well I've been gluten-free for several months, so I'm sure this hasn't been the first time to accidentally ingest something. I've also had cottage cheese before, but this reaction was very bad. I would sleep for 10 hours, wake up for 3 hours, then go back to sleep for another 8 or so. That's how fatigued I was.
  8. Edit: Clicked finish post before going back and deciding on a thread title, so that's why it's so ambiguous. Been gluten free for a little under three months, and about four days ago I got hit with some nasty symptoms. Nasty symptoms included 'intense' fatigue, and weakness. Was sleeping for 14 hours a day, my muscles and bones ached, felt dizziness...
  9. There a dark chocolate Reese's peanut butter cup? Just kidding, thanks for the advice. I'll give it a go.
  10. All dairy? Cottage Cheese? Yogurt? Milk Chocolate?
  11. I've been gluten free for about 6 weeks, and my symptoms are like a roller coaster. The first few weeks went great, I noticed an immediate improvement and started feeling very good. At about the two or three week mark I went from feeling amazing, to just rock bottom. Now some days I feel alright, and some I don't. If I were to map how I felt over...
