    I don't know how helpful this might be. I enjoy Amy's gluten free chunky vegetable soup. Lately the only place I've found it is amazon. This soup wasn't as filling as I wanted. So I put in 1/3 of a cup of rice and cooked the soup for 20min. It was so tasty and filling. A good lunch that I can eat at home or take with me.

    Yes it is expensive. Especially when you have to accommodate 2 dietary issues. My partner was diagnosed with diabetes just after my diagnosis. He relies on me. But he does eat out several times a week. I do not. Too scared for sure. Luckily really only the different bread is an issue. The gluten free food is crazy expensive and prices vary from store to store...

    I went to my pcp yesterday because of elevated blood pressure. I was feeling nauseated and had loose bm the day before. Still nauseated. Had a bit of fever. I've traced every mouthful I've had.     For me it was several months. During covid it was difficult to get appointments with GI doctors. I had 2 visits to the ER because of vomiting and diarrhea.     Not sure how to go about explaining. During my endoscopy damage to my esophagus was found.     I just read somewhere here that a Dr was upset at someone not taking their PPI. This I take for GERD and after my accidental gluten poisoning I couldn't keep anything down for several days. My GERD is still giving me problems 2 weeks on. I'm waiting on an appointment to have my PPI increased. Is it just me?

    No but only because I don't like coconut. It seems to be gluten free. For myself I use the Stoneyfield brand either plain or vanilla and add what I like to it

    I totally agree about the grocery stores. You have to be so vigilant. When I was hospitalized for spinal fusion I had trouble with my meals having gluten foods. My family brought in protein drinks and small containers of safe for me foods. You would think a hospital would get it right but not necessarily so.

    Before I was diagnosed with Celiacs I was being treated for diverticulitis. The pain in my left side was so severe I ended up in the ER twice in 2 days. After that I was diagnosed with GERD.     For me when I got beyond sips of water I had tea and then Stony field organic whole milk probiotics yogurt. It was recommended to me. We had the vanilla already. I figured getting active cultures in my tummy might help. I took it slow. But it did help. I hope you feel better soon🤗

    I'm curious about the effects of gluten poisoning. Is it unusual after a year of 100% no gluten that when I ate gluten again I was vomiting etc for several days not hours? Is it relative to the length of time gluten free or the amount of gluten consumed? Is it different for everyone? Susan, you felt awful for a week. Is there any way to know the damage done...

    I should have read the label before purchase. It was Ezekiel bread and if I had read the label I'd have seen the wheat listed. As I think it over it occurs to me that back in the 70s to early 80s a friends mother was diagnosed in her early 40s. She died within 2 months of her diagnosis.     Yes I was diagnosed after my colonoscopy and endoscopy. Before being diagnosed my sister an RN advised me to try following the BRAT diet until my diagnosis. After that, I followed a strict gluten free diet.As a matter of fact, I was hospitalized for spinal surgery a year later.     Recently I ate a sandwich from what I thought was gluten fee bread. It said no flour. But I wasn't wise enough to realize that spouts didn't guarantee gluten free. It wasn't the same. I couldn't keep even swallows of water down or in for 3 1/2 days. Because I initially was diagnosed during the pandemic it took months to be diagnosed. Hard to get appointments...
