  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. It has been two weeks today of being gluten free, and I feel good. I was always nauseous and dizzy for about the first week, but that has gone away, and I am feeling better than I have in a long time!! Yay!! I really didn't think it was possible. And I absolutely love this message board, it is a life saver. Now I have a question...I am getting sick...
  3. I have had the exact same pain for a long time (off and on for 4 years, and then for the last 2 years it is constant)...Lower left abdomen. I also had surgery to remove adhesions from some of my organs, but that didn't help the pain. I had all sorts of tests done, and no one could figure out what was wrong. Then the blood tests came back showing that...
  4. Thank you...I went gluten free a week ago, but have been eating Dannon Natural vanilla, almost everyday....Is it true that Yoplait yogurt is for sure gluten free? I love vanilla yogurt, and need to be sure that it is gluten free.
  5. I live in Vineland, NJ. Was just diagnosed a week ago.
  6. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease last week. I have a friend who is Gluten intolerant. When I told her that I had been diagnosed with celiac disease, she had no idea what it was. Is there a difference between being gluten intolerant and having celiac disease? Just a random question.
  7. Thank you for posting this recipe, I made them yesterday, and it was the first gluten free thing dessert that I actually enjoyed. I am a big dessert person, so it is good to know that I can make something that doesn't have the texture of styrofoam. I am also the only one who is gluten free in a house of 11 people, and they all enjoyed them too!!
  8. Wow, I really wish I could be there.. I think it would be a good source of information as i am new to this. The city is only a couple hours away, but unfortunately I have to be here for church sunday morning, my team is running the service. Bummer!!
  9. Today was day number three of the gluten free diet for me, and I am feeling very nauseated today, and also have had to use the bathroom three times today. That is really unusual for me, because I am usually pretty constipated for about a week, and then i will have diahrea for a few days, but today it was not diarhea, it was normal stool, but going...
  10. Thank you all for the help...I really really appreciate it.
  11. Thank you for your help, this can be quite overwhelming, thinking that for the rest of my life, I am going to have to be extremely careful about what I eat...I have never been one to be careful about food.
  12. Thank you for your help...this whole think is a little confusing to me...especially the distilled vinegar part...is it worth it to pay to go to a dietician (I have no insurance) or are they going to just give me more lists of things that I can't eat?? Also, what about ketchup? Is it safe? and Mayonaise?
  13. Ok, I am probably going to sound really stupid here...I just started my gluten free diet, and I am soo confused. I have heard that kraft ranch dressing is gluten free, but hidden valley ranch dressing is not. Is that true? And if so, why? What makes the one gluten free and not the other, they both contain vinegar right? Hidden Valley is by far my...
  14. I have had abdominal pain in the lower left quadrant for about 6 years, since I gave birth to my son. The pain is pretty much constant, but gets more unbearable after I eat. I will be constipated for about a week or so, and then have diahrea for a few days. I had a laparoscopy done in august of last year, and they removed adhesions from my pelvis to...
