  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. I was flying SAS from Sweden to the US recently. Two weeks in advance I ordered my special meal, vegetarian gluten-free (I eat meat, but as I am allergic to all fish&seafood I have to stick to the vegetarian meal when traveling). I asked specifically if this was a combination they couldn
  3. After two weeks gluten-free my stomach was flat, it started behaving more like a normal stomach and I started feeling a little bit better. I have brought lunch to work these days to be completely sure I didn't eat any gluten by accident. Today one of my colleagues suggested a lunch at a restaurant. I believe I did everything right....still it didn't work...
  4. Hi friends, just a short update! I have now been gluten-free for ten days and...yes, there really are some changes. My stomach is not that swollen anymore (e.g. I have stopped looking 5-6 months pregnant). Normal intestine reflexes are developing, so when I eat I also need to go to the bathroom afterwards. No sign of diarrhea, still a tendency towards constipation...

  8. Just un update: spent 4 days at a conference in Germany and obviously ate too much of something my stomach couldn
  9. Currently just testing, as I am waiting for my blood work to be done.... If the blood work is negative I am still going to try going gluten-free and see if my vitamin and mineral deficiency improves. Actually I had both vegetables and meat with both meals (more veggies than pasta). My stomach stopped working despite this. When I try to go thru what we...
  10. I realized that I have better keep a food diary, just to keep track of what might upset my stomach and what doesn
  11. There is also a lot of good information on Open Original Shared Link . I can also recommend Mary Shomon
  12. Oh, let me join you all in this! I have not been diagnosed yet (did the blood work Tuesday this week), but I suspect celiac disease very strongly. So far: *6 toe fractures (thank God, not all at the same time). Took forever to heal, especially the one in the big toe. * Crashed one rib when I had the flu and coughed. Doctor said it wasn't...
  13. Thanks Nancym! ;-) (I have obviously been in the medtech business for far too long now, I don
