  1. Seriously, I would have them pay for their screw up and not take her back. Just take her off Gluten. I have life long phobias from early childhood experiences like these. So I would not be inclined to do it again. You get one chance with me and then I'm done. If you do have them redo it, make sure they knock her out lightly.

    ARCHIVED Melt Down

I can commiserate, but this is all new to me. I did I for my son who is BFing, not myself.... but I'm GI too. I feel cheated in how it went down, but that is certainly my fault, not someone else's. My family has been about nutrition, but convenience certainly ranks pretty high right behind it.

I have no idea if he has other issues though. DH is quickly becoming anaphylactic to strawberries, FIL is mildly allergic to peanuts. I really do NOT want to do a skin rash test... What...
  5. Oh, wow. I didn't ever cut out cc, and my DH made wonderful organic homemade bread for me the whole time I was pregnant. ( NOW a ) I guess I figured it was more of a detox since I was so new and was sure I was still getting some level even if it was just from my kitchen (counters, bins, cast iron, stoneware) as well as the traces in my foods. Wow...
  6. Long story much shorter.... I have several celiac friends who are all convinced I am one too. My exclusively breastfed son has allergies, determined to be at least wheat, from the nasty oozing/crusties behind his ear and spinach green poop. Well, I finally bowed to the fact that I can't bear to hurt him and took myself off of wheat. Knowing full well...
