    They cannot do the 3 hour test since I had such a bad reaction to the 1 hour. My doctor is having me monitor my blood glucose levels 3 to 4 times a day.     I was taking antibiotics and probiotics for months while pregnant. I'm not 100% sure about the amino acids. I suggest consulting your physician or further advice, although it's probably fine.

    I had the 1-hour glucose tolerance test last week and it gave me a terrible anaphylactic and intestinal gluten reaction. My doctor's office swears the drink is gluten-free and contacted the manufacturer beforehand. There is no way that drink was gluten-free. A few minutes after chugging the fruit punch drink my entire body was reacting. I could barely breathe...

    I was diagnosed at age 13 and my growth was severely stunted. I was 5'3' when diagnosed and 70 pounds. I'm almost 19 (next week!) and am now 5'9" and 108 pounds. It took about a year after going gluten-free for me to start growing and putting on weight. Since then I haven't stopped! Just be patient. It may take a while but hopefully you see some improvement...

    Hi Jennifer, I was very anemic before getting pregnant. I have been for years. Unfortunately all of the iron pills made me sick, so I'm still having issues with anemia at almost 27 weeks pregnant. To be honest my OB/GYN isn't too concerned. My baby is developing very well. I just eat lots and lots of foods with iron in them. Have you tried any iron pills...

    I'm sorry you didn't pass your GD test. I have mine in a couple weeks. Ick! I hope the 3 hour test goes well for you. Hopefully the 1 hour test was wrong and you don't have gestational diabetes!
