  1. Is that really true!!! So that means I'm in a world of hurt for any cheating, huh? This is really going to be challenging. I cheated at lunch today. It was a new restaurant and my office went for lunch and we all got burgers. They have a burger with a soft pretzel roll and I thought I just had to try it. Well, it wasn't worth it. and I already...
  2. I've only been on the diet a few weeks and doubted that it was making me feel better..... Well, this Sunday at a picnic I decided to test myself and see what would happen. I ate brownies and a hotdog bun and cheese doodles. I am STILL hurting. Two days lost so far. I'm a believer now. Thanks for all those who responsed to my last thread...
  3. It's been three weeks and minimal success. I've been 99% gluten free. I don't feel that great yet. I still have fatigue and headaches. I had the diabetes test done and that "did not explain patient's symptoms" end Dr. quote. I think I might be on the wrong path. I'm frustrated and wish that I understood what is happening to my body. My stomach...
  4. It'll be my one year anniversary of quitting in a few weeks. I tried the gum first and it only puts you in a state of constant craving. Don't bother. I now believe there's only one way to quit: 1) Find in your mind to fully believe you want to quit. 2) quit cold turkey 3) don't believe it'll be easy for the first two weeks. it'll be hell. This...
  5. I exercise with my dog every chance I get. He's a yorkie and his stamina is really impressive. I don't completely run. I do more of a run/walk, which I hear is better anyway. I'm not sure what you mean by 'does it work'. But if you need any help in learning how to getting your dog to be more 'run by your side' instead of pulling on the leash...
  6. I don't have any faith in doctors... not because I think they are wrong all the time, but they can't possibly figure all that is wrong with you if they don't KNOW you. My dermatologist doesn't ask me what I eat or how my stomach feels. When I ask him about diets and stuff his response is "well, try it and see what happens". I've had psoriasis since I was...
  7. It's a good time for me to make a change and I will follow the diet to see how I feel. I'm sad that I may have to be really careful about what I eat all the time. But, on the other hand, if I feel better then its totally worth all the trouble. I've been moving towards a more natural diet anyway. And if going on this diet clears my Psoriasis....I'll...
  8. I've begun a gluten free diet and I'm going to get myself off the fiber so I can't blame my bloating and morning issues on it. I have taken topical steroids over the years. I try not to use them as much anymore. I shouldn't have gone to holistic 'Dr.' since I didn't even listen to her and basically wasted my money. I will go get that diabetes test...
  9. Hi, I need help with what to do next........ I've been sick for years with stomach problems. I was diagnosed with IBS and was told to reduce my stress. I've been managing my stress levels for years and feel like I'm a pretty mellow person now. I thought I had a lactose problem but removing dairy from my diet does not help much. I just dealt with...
