  4. Sorry for the late reply Nori is what they wrap around sushi. Its technically roasted seaweed but, it doesn't taste fishy or anything. You can get it in the international section of any grocery store by "eden foods" or yr local asian market. Just take out a sheet of it, put what you want in it, and wet your hands (you want it slightly damp). Then roll it...

  6. I too, love to wrap my sandwhiches in corn tortillas. I also love to do a wrap in nori. My favorite right now is, avocado's, onion, garlic, red pepper, wild rice tempeh, wrapped in nori. Great for lunch. They don't fall apart like corn tortillas do. melissa
  7. Thanks for the help. I too have quite the reaction in swimming pools. Horrible rash. Anyways, I was reading that hte 'aquasana' filter is more expensive than brita (114$ compared to 39$), but you only replace the filters every six months. Has anyone tried or used this brand? Thanks, melissa
  8. I found out that i am also allergic to chlorine, so I need to get a water filter/purifier. There are so many at such a range of prices, i have no clue which to pick. I don't make a lot of money so the super expensive systems are totally not going to happen. It seems that brita has a good one, or aquasanas. Any input? please? help!
  9. I have done a good bit of traveling as wlel. I make my own gluten-free muffins, freeze them, and then I have them made for car trips which i stick in the cooler with earth balance buttery spread. This is the most filling option. Or a homemade jam (or apple butter) on a rice cake or crackers. I don't find gluten-free cereals to be fulfilling either. good...

  13. Hey- I too am veggie/celiac. ALthough i don't have diabetes, i am currently being tested for hypoglycemia. Fun huh? I was vegetarian for 11 years before diagnosed with celiacs. I just got a cookbook called "vegetarian cooking without" by barbara cousins that seems pretty good but i ahven't made much from it. melissa

  15. Seeing as it was Cinco De Mayo this week, I went to make my first margarita since being diagnosed with Celiac, and realized I had no idea what is in triple sec??? Is it gluten free? What about grand mernier (sp?)?
