There is a Jason Cisler in Omaha who is the one who actually diagnosed my husband with Celiac after being sick for years and tons and tons of doctor visits, etc. and being misdiagnosed. Clinic name is: Midwest GI Associates 402-397-7057, am sure you are not still looking but I haven't logged in for quite a while and thought maybe this info would help out...

I agree with "missys mom" to have this checked into. My mother had scleroderma and always looked like she had been in a tanning bed all year round, "scleroderma" is also an auto imminune disease with no cure.

This is kind of off topic, but has anyone out there been able to get disability from being unable to work from the celiac and being "undiagnosed" as to what the problem is/was? My husband was self employed which basically turned into unemployed? (Finally recently diagnosed). Jewels

We went up to Mayo twice early last spring looking for answers to my husband's fatigue, depression, etc., sleep tests done, double checked for sleep apnia, tested for narcolepsy etc., also ended up in the psychitrist office, being sent home to say couldn't find anything other than needed to cut down on his drinking. So still owing almost $2000 after insurance... -
There was a post on here stating how Provigil can help with the fatigue/sleepiness. Provigil has gluten in it. My husband has recently been diagnosed with celiac and when I spoke to our pharmacy this morning about refilling his prescriptions she had called in to the company to verify and was told yes, it does contain gluten. Hopefully this information...
