Anybody else from Northern Indiana or anyplace around there? I feel like I'm the only one! -
Is it just me, or does it seem like there's a lot more girls than boys posting on here? What do you think it is? Are girls more commonly effected by Celiac than boys? Are girls on internet message boards more than boys? I'm just curious. Does anybody know any stats?

I am most definately interested! Do you know anymore Celiacs in the area? I think it would be great to get some people in the region together at least once, or even on a regular basis. It'd be great to hang out with some people that understand! -

My little brother got diagnosed a few months before I did. It's nice to have somebody close that understands! -
It's definately an added challenge because it makes our diets even more restrictive. But think about the reasons you became a vegetarian in the first place. Are these any different just because you can't have gluten? Probably not. I've been a vegetarian for years and, despite the protests of friends and family members, I havn't stopped since getting diagnosed...
