I had my blood drawn yesterday for the celiac Panel. Approximately how long does it take for the results to come back? -
Print out the symptom check list from this link Open Original Shared Link and ask to have it tested "just to rule it out". I went to my appointment yesterday and didn't even have to use the information I had printed out. I asked to be tested, and my doctor said "lets do a Celiac Panel". So the blood has been drawn, and I'm waiting for results. Good...

Hi Everyone Today is the day I went to my internest, armed with a lot of printed out information regarding symptoms and the blood panel etc. I'm shocked and happy to report that they weren't needed. I told the doctor my symptoms and that I would like to be tested for Celiac Disease. He said " Let's do the Celiac Panel". Done-- as easy as that. I... -
My doctor has said ALL of those exact things to me. I haven't been diagnosed yet, but have another appointment with him at the end of the month. The other times I went to him I had never heard of Celiac. Now I'm doing my homework, and making myself sick eating gluten! I'm hoping I can talk him into doing the blood panel. I've found a Gastroenterologist...

I've been back on gluten since the beginning of December. I'll try gluten again tomorrow, but NOT today. -

I'm new around here, and interested in where you read that IBS could be a mild form of Celiac Disease. I'm arming myself with information before I ask my doctor to do the tests on me. I don't think he is going to want to...
