I am so happy!! my daughter has been 14 days in the gluten-free world and she is doing great!! today,I had so much fun with her.. we danced Celia Cruz (salsa), we played with pillows, we ran around... and we behave like monkeys!! My daugther is 2 and actually her first symptom of Celiac was the constipation. The PED recommended to give her Miralax (8gms) mixed with pear juice (seems to be the most laxative of all the fruits). Limit the dairies and the apple sauce (I know how hard this is!!) We are also buying a lot of lentils and amazingly enough, our daughter is eating... -

I am allergic to barley and asked the nutricionist if that could be the link (hereditarian) to her being diagnosed with Celiac. She mentioned that there was no evidence of respiratory allergies with Celiac. My wife and I are also reading the new book: " Celiac Disease: A hidden Epidemic" by Peter H.R. My daughter who is 2 year old and was diagnosed with Celiac last week, has been gluten-free for almost a week (6 days). Yesterday, we saw some improvements but today her belly is extremely distended.
