It could be related to milk prices, which have shot through the roof...we're paying over $6 per gallon here, and that's over twice our gas prices, which are the highest in the country.

Certainly if you've been diagnosed with celiac disease and are still eating gluten this could be caused by that. So to determine if it really is DH a dermatologist would need to do a biopsy of a blister to confirm it, and if it is DH you would need to go gluten-free to control it. Dapsone can be prescribed but it can have some serious side effects, so controlling it with a GF diet is the better choice. Also, you may want to keep eating gluten until all tests for... -
Are you on a gluten-free diet? For most with dermatitis herpetiformis the issue goes away if they maintain a 100% GF diet. From what I've read about dapsone I understand it can have serious side effects. It can be difficult, but the best way would be to keep a food diary. Eliminate them for a few weeks to months, then slowly add them back one at a time. For many celiacs these flare ups occur less due to things like spices than what might be additional, sometimes temporary, food intolerance. For example symptoms might be caused by things like dairy, soy, corn, eggs, and other common allergens. Once the gut heals the offending item(s) can often be added back, but not always. -

Honestly, Gatorade is gluten-free, even though they don't claim it on their label. Coke and many other drinks also do not claim "gluten-free" but are. If you require this to be on your label you may need to make/mix your own version. Many things are naturally gluten-free and don't include this on their labels.

People with celiac disease can’t have any type of wheat, even ancient varieties contain gliadin which will trigger an autoimmune reaction.
