Yes you are right.....The cheese I had is called "milner" (that is the trade mark...I don't know if it is sold in your country....). It's a white low fat cheese. Question! When you say you were not lactose intolerant after gluten-free diet you mean you were before but then it stopped???????? It's kind of a symptom? That's what you mean? There is a chance...

I think I don't understand the word processed....You want to say for example a cheese that is with less fat had to go through a procedure? that is the meaning of processed???? Cause the cheese I ate...

MELINE posted a topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Hello everyone..It seems like I have to make that test called biopsy ...When I realised how they do it I got terrified......Is it actually as painful as it sounds??? Hello Melissa. Almost every gluten-free bread I've tasted is horrible.....so me too I can't help you with this...Also I am not allowed to eat sauce so again I will not help you....But you can find pasta that tastes really good and try to search the net for gluten-free recipes. Some of them are really good. Please try not to think of what you can't eat...

MELINE replied to mci289's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Hi matt, I am Meline Check out labels that do not have these guilty components (not only foods but you should check for example shampoo, toothpaste, moutwash, your wife's lipstick so that when you are kissing you are not getting any gluten etc) https://www.celiac.com/articles/182/1/Unsaf...ents/Page1.html Not so frightening as it seems..... -
ARCHIVED Do Other People Do This To You?
MELINE replied to Chloe77's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Hi..I am really realy sorry to hear about some pretty sad incidents such as the ones that are mentioned here. Actually people will never change. Usually it is hard for some people to take our place and understand. We only worry about our little own problems and forget other people. Till now nothing like this has happened to me. I guess I am still lucky... -

Really??? Quite a bad experience for you.....It is really disapointing how often doctors can be wrong and jump into conclusions. I understand they are humans too and they make mistakes but their damage can be really serious sometimes (of course we all say a big thanks for all these great doctors who offer their help and have saved lifes). Any way I hope now...

ARCHIVED Gluten By Accident. Starting From Zero?
MELINE replied to MELINE's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
They actually have, even though people are not aware of celiac. I read on the net that in Greece there is only 1 in 11. 000 people with celiac.....Can it be true?? The same article mentioned 1 in 300 people for Ireland.....Any way!!! I found pasta and bread and cookies and many many things, but unfortunatelly I can't eat them because I also have problems... -

ARCHIVED Gluten By Accident. Starting From Zero?
MELINE posted a topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Hello. There was a bad information from my doctor, who allowed me to eat dinkel (spelt) bread which finally proved to be non gluten-free. After 3 days of eating it, all the symptoms came back. Just wanted to ask. If someone does accidentaly eat gluten, then he starts the healing period from zero point? Maybe it depends on the amount? To tell you the truth... -
