  1. Poor Em Let me see if I can help. The short bus is what kids ride if they have physical or mental handicaps. It is smaller than regular buses and is specially equipped for wheelchairs. ....and shroomie is right abour the SB

  8. So was there school today, or is your school district the one with the 2 hour delay? No school for me. Was quite surprised by that. Hubby and son-in-law tried to shovel the driveway. Only got a small strip between the cars and the garage door.

  12. She had already broken her ice scraper yesterday, trying to chip away the ice from her car. She saw a neighbor doing it (although I think his was a mallet), so...... Good news The windshield will cost $400 to replace, BUT........the company she works for will reimburse her.

  14. School is out again today. Everything is covered in a thick layer of ice. DD, in an attempt to de-ice her car, has broken her back windshield (she was using a hammer ). Many tears followed .
  15. Part deux of our blizzard has begun. It's raining icicles .....and hubby went out for pizza (At least my son-in-law went with him) .....because the pizza place refuses to deliver. Imagine that BTW......there are no gluten-free pizza places near us, so DD and I will have to make our own dinner plans.

  23. Drink lots of phluids Em!!!! I'm at home with the grandbaby today. She's got an upper respiratory and ear infection. DD had to pick her up from the babysitter yesterday cuz she was running a fever. She's been sick since last Friday. Went to the doc on Mon. Lots of coughing Sounds like we ALL should be disenfecting our keyboards. This mod takeover...
