  1. I can't imagine that it would not be---But is Golden Blossom Honey Gluten Free? I have had Celiac Disease for 6 months and went on the diet 2 minutes after getting the diagnose. For some reason I think I may be having a reaction to Honey. I just had some with dinner and have a bloated stomach and stomach ache. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
  2. I was diagnosed in May and have been miserable not being able to wear lipstick. So after much research into lipsticks--considering I have a fair number in my drawer--I learned that Lancome is safe/gluten free. MAC; however, is not nor were they at all willing to help me out in returning the brand new unopened lipsticks. They really did not care. Retesting...
  3. I see this thread is 2 years old but I was wondering if any of you had any new information about Dr Green, Dr Lee and how you are doing. I am 2 months into my diagnosis and this week started with numbness in 3 toes of my left foot and some pain up my leg. In reading I see different opinions about B12, levels, amount etc. Any advice is appreciated.
  4. Thanks for all your suggestions. My 2 parents were in the hospital for 6 weeks and are now in long term care. 3 days from now they are moving to assisted living and I have to sell their apt over one hour away etc so I am truly stressed out. I was diagnosed in the middle of this whole thing so I am truly greatful to all of you for your help. The "squishy"...
  5. I never knew I had Celiac Disease until 8 weeks ago when at a regular physical I found out I was anemic. The doctor insisted I have a colonoscopy and endoscopy immediately. They only symptoms I had was unexplained weight gain even though I was at the gym 3 times a week and really working out and I would notice my stomach was bloated after eating!! I went...
  6. I am wondering if anyone has neuropathy in their toes. 8 weeks into celiac disease and I am experiencing tingling, squishy feeling in my left 5,4,3 toes. Some ache up my leg as well. I had experienced it a couple times in the past couple of weeks but yesterday I suffered with it all day and I have it this am. Kind of a numbness but feeling like squishy quicksand...
  7. Thank you. I am concerned about his blood test and a number one which the doctor said was negative. I just heard about swabbing the cheek to see you are a carrier so that is something to consider as well.
  8. I really appreciate the information. My son just took the blood test and his results were a 1 which the doctor said was negative. However, I am not so sure. I believe he must have celiac disease. His teeth have very little enamel and the dentist says he will need a whole mouth of caps some day. Also has had tummy troubles his whole life.
  9. I felt really dreadful when I went to my dentist for cleaning. I have for the last couple of years and noticed the fact but never mentioned it. Well, since being diagnosed I have been inquiring about cleaning products and just learned from a friend in Tenn. that his dentist uses PROJET and he is fine. So, I called my dentist this am and the secretary has...
  10. I am going to my first Celiac Support Group Meeting this evening and I really look forward to it. I am now 2 months into having Celiac and the gluten free diet. Not having worn lipstick has been annoying and has made me look worse than I have felt. So I just got off the phone with both MAC and Lancome. I have loved the MAC lipsticks and the Studio Fix foundation...
  11. I am trying to catch up with all the blogs I have missed in this last week.I will keep in touch. Littlebit

  12. Thanks for the information. I am so sorry you had to have Shingles on top of everything else. This is an amazing forum for giving and receiving wonderful advice. I am so blessed to have found all of you. I have wonderful doctors but truly you all are the experts for sure. I will look into the shot.
  13. Sorry, I am still new at this and quess I have finally figured out that I have to press add reply to respond. Hope this works. Anyway, my Father had shingles several years ago--there is a drug that you can take if you catch it within hours that really helps with the disease but it is still miserable and very painful. I have had friends with it and they have...
