  1. From another non-expert....I have been told that redness on extremeties is a sign of allergies....my nephew gets bright red ears (for example) when he's exposed to something he's allergic to. The allergist told his mother to look for this shortly after eating certain foods as a sign of allergies.....I would consider this as a possibly reason for a red...
  2. I've read that too. My son has some attention problems. Some would say he has ADD (without the hyperactivity) but I don't think it's so black and white (that's another soapbox ). He's just starting the school year so we'll see how things go. He only started his diet this summer. The biggest change I've seen in him has been in his personality...
  3. Terri-Anne, My son is 10 years old. I will be having my other two boys tested soon as well. I noticed Jesse has ADHD and a wheat allergy. Have you seen any changes in the ADHD with removal of wheat? Richard, Thanks for the help!
  4. My son has not been diagnosed with celiac disease; however, a blood allergy test showed that he's allergic to wheat and gluten (also milk, eggs & chocolate). I have read several places that once you get off wheat you can't return to it. The allergist said that after 3 months of "cleansing" (no foods he's allergic to) he could start back on them...
  5. OK - So does anyone have the "real story" on Citric Acid? I read one site that tells me it's on the NO list....another site that tells me it's on the OK list...clarification anyone? My son is allergic to Milk, Wheat, Gluten, Eggs & Chocolate.... Thanks!
