  1. I think the only way to really tell if natural and/or artificial colors/flavors are gluten-free is to call the manufacturer.
  2. I, too, know exactly what everyone is saying. I've been suffering from celiac disease symptoms for about five years, starting a few months into college. I always thought that the symptoms were a result of nerves, but now I know that they are a result of celiac disease. I wonder how many other people out there have come to or need to come to that realization...
  3. I just tried the RVB Honey Lager last night. It's not bad. It's pretty sweet, but I think it will satisfy my craving for beer. Cheers!
  4. I called them today. All of their products are gluten-free.
  5. I talked to someone from Polar Beverages who said that all of their products are gluten-free!
  6. It looks like those two sections have been combined, and that's where we are Filititi, do you have a sweet tooth or are you a meat and potatoes kind of person?
  7. Wow. That's a lot to read! I think I'll copy and paste it to a word doc and digest it all soon. I can't wait to hear how it is treated in this session of congress!
  8. Just from reading the ingredients, it seems that Aidells (sp?) is gluten-free. They make good chicken sausages. Also, you could ask your grocer's butcher if their italian sausages are gluten-free.
  9. I'll try calling. I'm not sure what artificial anything is needed in tonic water, but I'll find out.
  10. Tonic water tends to say that there are artificial flavors and colors. I love gin and tonic. Are there any gluten-free tonics?
  11. It is pretty close to the quote button...
  12. Hmm. Maybe you could combine ingredients with products and shopping. Treatment/recovery with medications and post diagnosis. baking with recipes. Publications and publicity with research. you get the idea. also, maybe you could put all of the travel and goreign categories next to one another and all of the for _____ only categories together. You know...
  13. Anyone know exactly what some memebers of congress are proposing for new food labeling regulations? e.g. Are there any examples of what a new label would look like? What do you all want for labels? The gluten-free icon? Proper wording? Also, are there icons for other allergies? e.g. yeast or eggs or dairy or ..? Sorry for asking a lot in this thread...
  14. Anyone call McCormick?
  15. Is there any way to have the default setting show all topics, both pinned and not pinned mixed together, in order of most recent activity?
