  1. Can anyone recommend a good nutritionist in Rockland County NY area or NYC....to help me learn how to eat again, now that I am celiac. I am starving, bloated, fearful of food and frustrated. UGH!!!!! funny in a way I guess...I have to learn to laugh about this or I will curl up in a corner and cry!!!

  3. Thank you so much. My son was diagnosed last year I had suspected gluten being the issue for a few years now. The dr just kept saying I was an anxious person and mom....give me a break..when your child is still fitting the same clothes for age 3 to age 8 there is a problem!!! so I pushed and finally he was diagnosed...YEH....then after I got him all settled...
  4. I was just diagnosed and today is day 2 gluten-free. and I have this terrible anxiety, I want to cry all the time and feel so overwhelmed and sad. Is this normal??? I am so scared right now. Has this happened to anyone else, and why is it happening?? Should I not feel better gluten-free not worse??

  6. Hi there it seems since my diagnosis I am having trouble with all grains, rice, buckwheat, amaranth etc. Has anyone else had these problems at first and will it gradually go away?

Hi there Ok finally results arrived phew what along three weeks so my results showed 17...because it is low does that mean it is not as serious or that I do not have a big issue? also being that low of a number does that mean my gluten sensitivity is not what has been casueing all my symptoms over the last few years?? what have your experiences been...

Hi I am wondering if your symptoms can change like one week it may be your digestive that is acting up then it seems to disappear and your nervouse system kicks up for a day or two then your muscles ache etc you get the idea...can this happen or may it be something else and if it can happen can someone explain why...so much to try to learn,,, thanks for...

Hi there I am confussed I was told my son and I where not celeiac based on our blood test so we contiunue eatting gluten....however not feel any better and had been following a vegan lifestyle for over 2 years found out I was serverely deficient in protein not to say all vegans are of course but I was clearly not doinf it properly and eatting large amount...

  17. went through all this testing over the last 6months or so was told all was good so continued on gluten and continue to have other symptoms that keep leadingme back to gluten low b12, no calcium, iron, dark circles under eys, sore joints,UTI;s adrenaline rushes, dehydration I cannot seem to rid and out of now where oh and the newest one flutuating BP after...

Hi there I am hoping to get some opinions from this board My NP/ND suggested a bowel test through a lab in the states that she feels is very compitent at picking up IGa proteins in your BM's I had my blood work celiac testing come back negative which she was not surprised as she feels there are many false negatives unless you are a bad case of celiac...

Hi there So now my 2 children have been diagnosed with gluten sensitivity my DD is not as bad as my DS yet!!! we finally figured it out after my poor DS broke out in this terrible itchy hivey like rash it was awful for him...then had the test doen adn bingo....but now what?? what on earth do I send them for lunch they already do not have dairy the schools...

Hi there so my test results finally came back Part of me did not care as I have noticed great changes both good and bad on the gluten-free diet (bad due to the detoxing effect) now the DR is awa until Sept but the office gave me my results but Idon't know what they mean can anyone hear help? this is what it said all three results igg iga and trans...
