  5. Hello, Kalo. Do you feel that the York company is the best one for the IGG Elisa testing? There are so many of them out there that offer this, but I have never been able to determine which one is best. I believe I remember reading one time that one of the labs had a far better history than all others, but the article I had read never mentioned which one....
  6. If you have more than 50% of total hairloss on your scalp, injections would do you no good. If, however, your hairloss is restricted to one "Pocket" on the scalp (Try putting one of your hands on your scalp, and if your hairloss is confined to that area you're ok), a simple series of Kennalol injections directly into the scalp by a Dermatologist would most...
  7. DEMAND to have a routine blood culture performed. This would most likely identify any active virus, fungus, bacteria present in the system. Also, try to insist on having a C-reactive protein test run, along with the CBC, ANA, and Sed Rate, if these tests haven't been performed in the last 6 months. Have an A1C test performed to rule out Diabetes. Odds...
  8. Keep an eye out for Fibromyalgia with Celiac, an autoimmune condition which acts much like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. But Fibromyalgia involves pain, as well. My mother was recently diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis, and I do know that she has several of the conditions you mention. She goes in for surgery soon, and the recovery rate from the pain is excellent...
  9. PS-I lost track of which one of you mentioned the irregular heartbeat (Why I was placed on the beta blocker), but I should note that I had some luck solving that problem, too. Because I am diabetic, my doctor did perform several tests on my heart to try to figure out just why I was having the racing heart. I've had Diabetes since I was 15 months old,...
  10. I must again make note that I am not a doctor, and I certainly have never had any formal medical education to speak of, so I could never suggest to any of you that it would be wise to stop taking beta blockers. Doing so is very risky if you have been on them for a long time, for doing so can cause one to have a heart attack. If you and your physician would...
  11. Greetings to all of you! I am a 27 yr old type 1 diabetic that was recently tested for Celiac. Fortunately, my results have come back as negative. However, I do have a 64 year old mother who was diagnosed with Celiac roughly 4 years ago. A year prior to that she was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, and to top things off two years we discovered that she had become...
