I have Pathmark, Waldbaums and Stop and Shop by me. Not one of them has a gluten free aisle. They tell me gluten-free can be found in the organic aisle. Wow, I never thought of that about the slicer needing to be wiped! Thanks for the heads up. Sheryl, West Hempstead NY

Spoke w/ Cambells 7/08 and their pork and beans ARE NOT gluten free. But thankfully there are other options.

Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up. I spoke with Swanson 7/08, and they told me their canned chicken is Gluten Free!!! This is a great alternative for those of you who do not like canned tuna.

I am new to celiac disease, so please be patient with me. Are you saying that a product with maltodextrin is ok to consume? Some literature I have says it's no good.

I just bought Vermont Maid Syrup and it says Gluten free on the package. The only thing is, the ingredients list malt. I emailed the company to find out what's up.
