  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. I understand not to eat the sushi with the imitation crabmeat and to be careful with soy sauce....which I can take my own. Just want some opinions as to whether or not safe? I haven't posted in a while and have been doing very well....I am not celiac, only gluten sensitive....I fell off the wagon couple days last week into a birthday cake and have dearly...
  3. The KinniToos (sp.) oreo cookies from Kinickkinnick(sp) are wonderful and would most definitely be easiest and do the trick. Would you please share your recipes, sounds wonderful. Thanks.
  4. Quack: Ditto to everything in your original post. I have gluten sensitivity. I have been gluten-free for the most part since August and CF since first of October. I have pernicious anemia and do the B12 supplements, injections, etc. as you mentioned. I took one bottle of the L-carnitine and didn't reorder, I guess cause I didn't really know if it made...
  5. Thanks so much for the responses..... Grocery shopping in my area is limited. There is a whole foods about 45 minutes away that I'm going to make a trip soon....I know for right now I just need to stick with the basics.
  6. I'm so overwhelmed. I have been following gluten-free since August and have done this without ordering specialty products. Since latest lab results reveal a dairy sensitivity, I am just at a loss and want some guidance. So to all that are gluten-free and DF please share the best places on the web to shop and what things I need to even start with buying...
  7. Thanks so much for the replies. I'm just a little overwhelmed...and maybe now have an understanding as to why I have gained so much weight in the last 10 months and also have not been able to lose any since going gluten-free. I have really turned to alot of dairy, especially cheeses. I also am B12 deficient which is what lead to all of this anyway...
  8. Any advice on the following results is greatly appreciated. I have been following gluten-free diet since August and have found it very difficult, now CF also. No wonder I haven't felt lots better. I've substituted so many things I missed with dairy, chocolate, yogurt, cottage cheese, cheese, etc. So what am I going to be left with....I know fruits, veggies...
  9. The only flour I have been able to find locally is Soy Flour. Whole foods is one hour away and I'm waiting on Enterolab results before I make the trip. So what are the uses for soy flour?
  10. I was diagnosed B12 deficient in December, 2007....Began injections daily for month, then weekly, then every three weeks, at the same time I had to supplement with Folic Acid....After doing research I have added the sublingual m-B12, a-b12, Bcomplex, MegaFolinic and fish oil.....there is a thread at wrongdiagnosis.com that Sally Pacholok started a while back...
  11. I'm still waiting on the bloodwork to come back, but since the bloodwork on Monday I have been gluten-free or to the best of knowledge of I have been. My stomach has felt better each day and this morning really good and went to bathroom "normal"....until I ate breakfast....and for the first time this week I ate 2 eggs, glass milk and bacon.... What a...
  12. Three biospy samples were taken... And I have been gluten-free since Monday after my blood was drawn...or very close anyway, just really noting everything that goes into my mouth and how it makes me feel. I did have some Churn Style Country Crock margarine on rice on Tuesday night and felt like that really didn't set well with me. Also, I want to...

  16. So yesterday I did good. Woke up this morning and felt pretty good. Artlet (daughter) didn't finish her Quaker Instant Grits so I finished those off with 2 slices bacon....45 minutes later I was on toilet, after having already been to bathroom twice. I had to go lay down for an hour, tummy hurt and gurgling. Rest of the day I've had a plum, A lactose...
  17. Nora, thanks for asking and just now I have requested a copy of the biopsy. The "RUDE" nurse told me yesterday that it would take 7 to 10 days to get the blood tests back. Soon as I get the report I will post. Thanks again.
  18. I've already had the biopsy and it is positive. Now, the gastro wanted the bloodwork to confirm. I'm a real snacker and this is whats bothering me....I do eat fruits and veggies, but my family is also used to eating out alot, which needs to stop anyway for all of us healthwise. Even avoid cottage cheese? I love my cottage cheese and fruit.... Thanks...
  19. So I glutenized myself into a coma yesterday to make sure when the bloodwork was done this morning there would be no questions. But I'm in a panic and confused...Do I just start gluten-free or do I go ahead and eliminate dairy also? And eggs? There are no whole food stores in my town, but after a I get a good diagnosis I will drive 45 to the nearest...
  20. Thanks for you response Shay. And you are so right about the medical terms. I realize at this point I need to concentrate on the healing and eating the proper foods. These forums help so much. I have so much to learn because the evidence IS there.
