  1. Hey, My names Briana and I'm seventeen. I'm actually living in the overpopulated Southern California. I'm planning on going to college in Colorado and I'm also thinking about Idaho. In addition to celiac disease I have a dairy allergy, am a vegetarian, and have hypoglycemia. If you ever have any questions or just want to talk feel free. My email...
  2. So I hope I'm replying to this right. I'm seventeen and found out I was diagnosed with celiac disease in December of 2007. I was previously a vegetarian for about three months before I was diagnosed. I, unlike you, don't have a problem with needles, and at the same time I found out I had a gluten intolerance found out I have a dairy ALLERGY. So I kinda...
  3. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  4. I'm going to Redding California for a week, I'm gluten free as well as vegan and was wondering what I could eat or where I could go to eat, any ideas?
  5. So I don't mean to be like a downer and I mean this as just not a bad way. But like the oxalate diet I was looking into it and soy is a high oxalate and I eat a lot of soy, not because I think it's healthier but because I'm a vegan. Peanuts also they were saying is a high oxalate food, and I eat them for protein. I don't mean to sound complicating or anything...

  7. Is there anywhere in Laughlin Nevada to eat at? Like before I was diagnosed we would eat at buffets and stuff anyone know of anything? There's an in and out so I can eat some fries. Im a vegan also. Any ideas?
  8. I'm allergic to the dairy, so I couldn't have the goat milk or the cheese. I don't think I can go back to eating just eggs or meat again, I sorta just like grossed myself out by it. Even some of the substitutes that taste almost real gross me out cause it reminds me of eating flesh. You know? I've never had I'm sorry but I forgot what the milk was called...
  9. Are Smart and Finals Chef's Review Hash Brown Patties Gluten Free?
  10. I don't know here, but it takes a while to get use to the diet, as it is complicating. I've been on it for a year and found out yesterday that the soy milk I drink has gluten in it. It's possible that you are getting cross contaminated or are eating gluten and you don't even know it. Another possible reason may be another allergy. Me, I'm allergic to dairy...
  11. So you think eating meat might be my only like possible solution?
  12. I'm sixteen. Female. I've been on the gluten free diet for a year and around then I also found out I had a dairy allergy. [[Not lactose intolerant, dairy allergy.]] My mom has a double copy of the celiac gene but I am unnoffically diagnosed but do carry a copy it. I don't mind being gluten free, I feel healthier without all those bready foods. Before I...
  13. It was in the very beginning so they weren't talking about anything else. I just want to know if it has a meaning at all.
  14. In the movie "The Invisible" Nicolas cage is eating breakfast and his mom is reading the newspaper and looks down at his shirt and says "What is that, irony?" Does anyone know why she says that? Why would it be irony?
  15. Does anyone know why the mom says what is that irony for?
  16. I'm doing a biology project on genetic disorders on celiac disease and I need to know if it is sex linked, dominant, or recessive. Thank you.
  17. It's different though. I'm in highschool. And we like kiss at school like between periods. Is there anyway to fix this?
  18. You know, I get that when I eat gluten. I'll be like totally fine one minute then the next I start crying. Like where the simplest things just are such a big deal. For me that went away when I gave up the gluten. Mine was so bad that ending my life was once an option. Things always seemed harder than they were. I taped up a sign on my mirror, "It's...
  19. So I keep a food journal of everything I put in my mouth to see if I get sick or have bad mood swings I can go back five days prior [[since that's how long it takes me to get the mood swings]] and see what went wrong. I've been noticing the days I kiss someone five days later I always get depressed. Is there anyway... like am I just screwed when it comes...
  20. I'll talk! I don't know anybody on here. I'm fifteen, from California. I found out I wasn't able to have gluten the day after my birthday last year. So December 2nd.
  21. Dude those things are delicious!
  22. Hey. As above, I'm gluten free, dairy free, and a vegan. My mom keeps complaining and threatening to make me eat meat again unless I find more foods to eat. Any ideas? What do you eat?
  23. Well that is good to hear. So where you from?
  24. And I have yet to find one.
  25. Oh okay I'll try that. Thank you.
