Hi there, I'm having a Celiac blood panel done this coming week, and in the event that it is positive, I would like to be diagnosed without having a biopsy done. It's a tough situation to be in. If you go back to eating gluten, you may not do it long enough to get a positive test result, you'll end up being miserable for nothing, you'll still always wonder if you're Celiac, and on top of that no doctor will believe you because you'll have comfirmed their suspicions with a negative result. Hi, I'm having blood drawn at my local hospital on monday for a complete Celiac panel (I believe there are four things they check) and also an ANA test (to check for other autoimmune diseases I guess). Good news. I have an appointment to see a gastroenterologist on the 30th of this month, it's covered by my insurance, and I'm told she is well-versed in Celiac's. Thank you for the valuable information. I guess it's been about 3 months since I was on the low-carb diet. I only stuck with it for a few weeks however and my chronic diarrhea returned almost immediately upon discontinuing it.
