  1. Me and my girlfriend visited the Cambridge, MA Stone Hearth Pizza last Saturday evening. From the street I could see enormous chalk letters on the window with some phrase similar to "TRY OUT NEW GLUTEN FREE MENU." Pretty cool to advertise that in such a fashion. The interior is cute, and small, there are approximately 10 full size tables. The service...
  2. I feel like many of us would benefit more not necessarily from the CHOICE of eating out, or eating food we traditionally ate before the onset of gluten intolerance/ celiac. What I personally combat is how HORRENDOUS I feel when I take in even trace amounts of gluten just through cross contamination, from kissing my girlfriends lips, from maybe using a...

I think its fair to say "it makes me really sick" and leave it at that. Your family and friends will get used to it and it wont be brought up anymore. Think of it like a new tattoo. At first, it will get lots...

  8. bring your own food. expect to feed yourself at potlucks, DO NOT rely on other people to provide any food for you. I personally am extremely sensitive to gluten, and its just not worth getting sick over to eat other people's prepared food. a well intentioned friend is just that... well intentioned. if you didn't see it get cooked, DONT EAT IT. because...
