I don't know if this will be helpful as my fam is still going through the celiacs id. process but my kiddos have lots of other foods that they react to (most from birth, through my breast-milk even). I'm hoping once we get rid of gluten that our reaction to other foods will chill out. We tested for other foods through patch-testing, where the allergist... -

Hi! Everyone! JennyC, who do you see in Portland? We are near Eugene looking for answers and doctors who know what they are talking about. My oldest (of 3) is 4.5 and has daily tummy troubles, feels sick, on the toilet, etc. 1 year ago her blood tests were neg., positive for DQ2 gene. We are trying to decide do we retest? Take her to a Peds G.I.???? Everyone... -

Debbie, Are you still on this site? My family just moved back to OR from AK, to Brownsville, and just diagnosed by daughter (almost 5) and husband with celiacs. We are still trying to decide what to do about testing the rest of the family. The small bumps on the arms and legs thing (I can't remember the specific name, but it does have one) we were told by both our Ped. and Allergist is a non-specific immune response; i.e. your body is having an immune response to "something" but we don't know what. we had them looked at on our daughter (who was diagnosed yesterday with Celiacs) last Fall when...
