  2. I have noticed minor to no improvement on behavior but I will give it time. But to my suprise last night , my son wrote three words plain as day for the first time. Ok so yesterday my hands were swollen (like when you eat to much sodium) my stomach was achey and I was fatigued again (not nearly as bad as the day before, no vomiting or D) Today I am feeling tons beter. 5. Well been on the diet for a week and curious about starbucks coffee (them making it not buying it). Anyone know anything. I would assume it ok. But you can not assume anything with Celiacs. I do not eat their snacks, but I am a coffee addict. Picked it up when the fatigue was so bad that it took all may energy to drive there. I can say that I feel I...
  6. I actually went out and bought all new cooking supply and from toaster to utensils. But like I said it was a heat and serve brat by johnsonville. They are frozen and you put them in the micro for 2 min. I looked up every ingredient and it said it was safe. Like some of you said it was sausage, so who knows what could be in it. It was my super bowl treat...

  9. WoW!! This is sooooo overwhelming. After writing that I did not know what casein was, i got to thinking how well my son did on a dairy free diet a few years ago. Like I said before though it never truly help completely clear up his skin, but when I look back- IT DID HELP. Heck i know how to go dairy free and still have all my info on it so I am going...
  10. I am not to sure what casein is. If I start seeing improvement with gluten but not fully, I may dig deeper. If Casein is milk I have had him off it in the past and he did well, and I put him back on it with out a problem. One step at a time right now, I will research it, thanks for the advise. What benifits have you seen from Casein free and gluten free...

  14. shayes mom- Thank you so much for your email. With the outgrown allergy, it was hard to accept. My main concern with it was his eczema. It cleared up drastically. But truly never went away. He was tested at 2 ( I think it is all a blur) and he retested at 5 and it was no longer in blood or on skin test. But like you said it mutated into ALOT of other...
  15. my boys are in a private preschool right now, and I want to send them to private elementry but they use the same school district for special services and i would not be able to use any servises if I go out of my district for schooling for the boys. If they would only evaluate him to see if he qualifys, then they have great resources. I am going to get a...
  16. Mother of Jil I think thats what gets to my family. I fight for what I believe is right, and trust my gut. When my sons eczema was so bad, the doctor said just put this cream on it and wrote me a script. My gut and instincts went nuts!!! I said no, my family went nuts saying he will never feel better if I do not do what the doct says. I told them that...
