  5. Is sudafed ok to take? I called the company and they said no gluten ingredients used but they cant confirm no cross contamination...
  6. thanks guys. yea I had the blood work which was really high and they sent me for the endoscopy and a colonoscopy and it confirmed it. Its just so weird! all my life I was fine and then BAM. I guess im in a little denial about it and having the "gene" oh well. thanks!
  7. I am just wondering if Bulimia and celiac are related. I was bulimic for 6 1/2 years. I stopped about I think 2 maybe 3 years ago. Could I have given myself celiac? I always wondered what damage I had done to my body. This is probably something I should ask my doctor I know...but just wondering if anyone knows anything about this? No one in my fam has celiac...
  8. I am new, and have only been almost 2 weeks on a gluten-free lifestyle. A couple questions....I never had any type of reaction to dairy...do I need to take it out of my diet anyway just to start? Can I have soy? How will I know if I cant? Soy lecithin? What is up with the caramel coloring? what is in it that we cant have? And gaur gum, I looked at a website...
  9. I know I may sound silly. And I am even very new. But, I was wondering if we should trust restaurants. I went out last night and there was a place that served gluten free pizza and gluten free pasta. My husband got the pasta so we could share and I got pizza. Could I have been glutened? I dont think im feeling any side effects today but...should we trust...
  10. aww thanks guys!...I appreciate it My husband says its like a have a little family on here. I have one more question...we have to stay away from distilled white vinegar...ketchup has distilled vinegar, is that ok?
  11. Thank you both...This is all crazy to me...Its only been almost 2 weeks and I feel like Im probably not 100% gluten free because I'm still learning the little things...Im reading labels but there is SO much out there to memorize that it seems impossible. I dont know how everyone does it!
  12. Just a quick question...can we have corn flakes? I see that it has malt flavoring. We can have this if its corn based right? I would think since its corn flakes it would be ok but Im just checking first. Also...ranch dressing and ketchup...are these a yes or a no? Balsamic vinegar? just checking thanks!
