  1. I don't know the results but I know that the blood work came back normal. I have been avoiding all wheat, barley, rye & oats for atleast 2-3 months (I've lost track of time). I don't really have a typical days diet. I am still getting sick probably atleast once a week. Sometimes just nausea & other times full upset stomach. I was...
  2. Is there some kind of test for gluten intolerance? I have had a blood test for celiacs & that was normal. Any help would be appreciated! I have been suffering with problems for 5+ years & don't know how much more I can take. My insurance is aweful so I can't afford to keep going back to the doctor every time I've been sick. I've tried gluten...
  3. Another question, I have had several people tell me that my sickness after gluten free & then eating gluten doesn't necessarily tell me anything. They said that anytime you drastically change your diet your body will go into shock & will make you sick. Is that true?
  4. Thanks for your reply. I'm going to stick with the gluten free diet & then in about a month try to eat barley & see if that makes me sick. Then I can hopefully see if it's just wheat or all gluten.
  5. Sorry to keep posting this but can anyone help me with this? I'm starting to feel better now but was sick for 1 1/2 weeks after 4 weeks of gluten free & 2 days back on gluten. Should I still be sick from just 2 days with gluten?
  6. Is that just for adoptions in the US or for international adoptions also?
  7. Thanks for the info on the gluten testing. I can't afford anymore testing right now. I have had a ton done of the last 5 years & my health insurance skyrocketed in June so I can't afford to have anything else done. That's why I am just doing this on my own now.
  8. How long after going gluten free were you able to get pregnant? I would love to hear from Celiacs, Gluten Intolerant & others... I tested negative for Celiac but after going gluten free for 4 weeks & then eating normal again I have been nauseous for over a week now so I'm assuming my issue is probably gluten or wheat intolerance. I would love...
  9. Sorry I didn't see this reply until today (the email notification must not have been working). I was off of gluten for 4 weeks & went back on it for 2 days & got very nauseous. I never actually got sick but very nauseous & still am now a week later. I haven't eaten any gluten since last Monday morning. Do you think it could still be related...
  10. I just did a 4 week gluten free trial & then ate just as normal & felt very nauseas the next day. Do you think that is enough of an "unofficial" diagnosis to say I am gluten intolerant? I tested normal on the celiac blood panel & have had several other tests done on me over the past 5 years. The doctor was telling me it was IBS but I was not...
  11. Thank you for all your advise. Like I said before, they have done about every test imaginable over the last 5 years & no results. This is my last resort as my doctor isn't really don't much of anything else. Plus my health insurance skyrocketed June 1st so I'm not able to afford to see the doctor anymore or have anymore tests done so I'm doing this...
  12. Ok first of all I have had the celiac panel done & it came back normal. My doctor is trying to write it off as IBS & I won't accept that as a diagnosis. I have had issues for 5 years now & had just about every test possible & they don't know what the issue is. That is why I'm trying a gluten free diet. As far as being hungry all the...
  13. Soft corn tortillas? Are you referring to the things you have to fry up before you eat them?
  14. I'm also curious how quickly people have gotten pregnant after going gluten free. I would love to hear the stories about how long it took everyone to get pregnant.
  15. Ok I am on a gluten free trial to see if this is my issue or not. I started on Saturday. Anyone know how long I need to be off of gluten before I try to eat it again & see if I get sick. My issue is that I haven't been sick in a couple months (my sickness goes off & on) so I really can't tell a difference since I've been gluten free because I wasn...
