  1. Happy birthday and may God bless you today!

  2. Nope. My fasting blood sugars were plenty to diagnose Diabetes = 400-something.
  3. Hi WhiteLace. I have T1 Diabetes, and I'm still working on a celiac diagnosis. A blood sugar of 174 after eating a meal is I think acceptable for a non-diabetic. Recent findings have suggested this. The most important is before and 2 hrs after meals. Was the 174 fasting? If so, then you may have pre-diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance. Your best thing...
  4. Aloha Sue. I just recently found a site that has been helpful for me- give it a try. Open Original Shared Link Hope it helps answer at least some of your questions!
  5. Hi Sally. The blood draw is on me. They were just fishing around, supposedly because of my vit B deficiency, but I've had that for about 4 years and this was the first time anybody ck'd. I came up as weak/moderate positive, but neg on the TtG and EMA (I think?). Have a mild case of DH that dissapears right before dermatology appts. No biopsies on skin...
  6. Blood test for IgA and IgG drawn without my knowledge.
  7. Hi there. I'm pretty new at this myself, and I'm still pursuing a diagnosis. Celiac Test is extremely vague. IgA and Ttg are elements of a series of tests. I don't have my Ttg results, so I can't compare them (mine came up as negative, I know that). But my lab slip shows the following range(s): IgA: under 20 units is negative 20-30 units is...
  8. Hi Billy. The only blood tests I had that came back as positive were the IgG and IgA. All the others were neg. I decided not to pursue a biopsy at that point because I didn't have any symptoms. Lately I have developed what I believe is DH and I'm seeing my GP Friday for a referral to the GI and I'd like to have the endoscopy done.
  9. Hi Kiwik. I have had the vitamin B deficiency for many years, I'm borderline hypo-thyroid not on meds and have T1 diabetes.
  10. Definitely food for thought. I have to wonder, though, if my ins will cover my gluten-free sessions w/ my dietician if there's not an absolute dx of some kind. Guess we'll see on Friday. This'll be pretty much the first time I've met this doctor.
  11. That's interesting, Richard, thank you for your reply. I'm obviously not as informed as others, but I'm concerned because I've read that quite a few folks get misdiagnosed from skin biopsies not being done correctly. Right now the rash isn't too bad, but I want to get rid of it as soon as possible. When I ended things w/ the GI earlier this year, he wasn...
  12. Hi to all. My name is Heather, and I am expecting to get a celiac disease diagnosis shortly. I had some tests done at the beginning of the year, the IgA and IgG were mildly positive, but the tTg and the rest were neg. At that point I had no symptoms other than a vitamin B deficiency for years and years. I have in the last 6 months developed what appears to...
