  1. I went to the website and i'm lost. lol! Is it the acidophilus powder?
  2. Thank you all! It's so misserable. It feels like Acid Reflux, but I didn't think it would come back so severe and sudden when i'm on the zantac. I will check out that website. Thank you. I had never heard of anything like that.
  3. Hey there. I recentley self diagnosed myself and my stomach problems have resolved. Thanks goodness. I've felt a ton better, but here recentley I have started getting allergic type reations to different things. I'm already gluten free, dairy free, and corn free. Lately i've had tightening in the chest, tingle arms and legs, a general weak feeling after...
  4. Thank you. I have my first GI appt Wednesday. I'm just NERVOUS!! I want to know what the heck is going on. What would make it so tender just when I push on it? It makes me wonder if it is yeast overgrowth in intestines, scar tissue from them pulling the gallbladder through there, God forbid ..cancer I'm sure I will get some answers Wed and if not...
  5. I'm sorry, I do not know how to word what i'm trying to ask. At times, right above my belly button and below my stomach "hurts" (It is RIGHT above my belly button..almost on my belly button). Example: If one of my kids run up and sit on my stomach, it is painful. Almost sore like. Not like a stabbing pain, but a raw ache. I can also feel my heartbeat...
  6. CMG- Thanks! I will definitely take you up on that..lol! She love powdered donuts, biscuits, pizza, ad she likes the softness of regular bread(example: wonder bread) Our Gluten free bread is kind of hard and the only way it tastes good is if I toast it..which she doen't like. IT's great to hear that the school is on board with the diet. That's a sense of...
  7. No, I haven't seen my doctor again. I have never heard of that either..hmm. I agree it is taking a long time to recover from the surgery. So many told me it was a breeze, but mine was painful for a long time. When you say sore lower bowel, what do you mean (sorry if that is to personal) My stomach is tender to touch right above my belly button and below...
  8. Thank yo both for your stories. It is very encouraging to read them. I truly beleive this diet is helping my daughter. She seems so different and much happier now. It breaks myheart when she cries for foods she can't have. I just encourage other snacks that I hope she will take to. Thankfully, she has always loved fruit. That helps a ton! Thanks again...
  9. Thank yo uall so much. That really eases my nerves. I keep telling myself it has to be the change in diet. I was so used to smothering everything in cheese and eating lots of sweets and breads. Now I basically eat raw fruits, veggies, lean meats, and everything made of rice (rice tortillas, rice milk etc..) That is interesting to hear that overweight tend...
  10. Yeah it's pretty crazy that after all the thousands of dollars i've spent trying to figure out what was wrong with me, I finally figured it out myself. My symptoms were so all over the place, doctors were sending me here there and everywhere. Noone had a clear diagnosis. I had my gallbladder removed for nothing! I was told I had Orthostatic Hypotension(a...
  11. Most of their stuff has worked fine for me..so far. I can't eat much of it anyway because of all my other intolerances. I did notice their Ground Cinnamon is not labeled Gluten Free, but it doesn't have ingredients listed either. I thought since ingredients weren't listed, it was simply cinnamon, but I do think it may have wheat flour or something as a...
  12. That pain and acid reflux are my two main symptoms if i've been glutened. I actually had my gallbladder removed because of the location of the pain before I self diagnosed myself with Celiac/Gluten intolerance. I still get the pain so I know it wasn't my gallbladder. Everyone can be different though, if it doesn't go away, i'd get it checked.
  13. lizajane: OMG! That sounds exactly like her!! She was getting to the point that I di dnot recognize her. She was throwing fits and waking up ALL night long. Since the gluten free diet though, she has been 90% better. She still has her days, but nothing like it was before. And my husband also agrees, she is a totally different child now. Thanks for the advice...
  14. Thanks for replying to all of my posts !! I'm so happy she is doing better too. I am so disgusted with their pediatrician. She has constantly offended me with both of my daughters. Eveyrone has told me to change doctors and i'm looking into it right now. I've waited far to long as it is. The hardest part is our family won't take it seriously because...
  15. Thank you! I am such a worry wart and always assume the worst. My family told me the same thing. I cut out all processed foods, sweets, caffeine, snacks, dairy, etc.. and that was mainly what I previously ate. A LOT of cheese and sweets and bread!
