    I have the list of places that have gluten-free menu's - like Uno's, Outback, etc.. But I'm visiting my parents in NJ who live in cow country (it's very pretty) and their are no chains around.     UPDATE - the 2nd set of blood test confirm that my daughter does have celiac. I know the only TRUE way to confirm is by biopsy with the endoscopy, but our gastro dr feels it would be extremly unlikely to find nothing with her #'s being what they are. And he said even if he didn't find anything, we would have to re-do the endoscopy almost every year to constantly...

    My 6 year old daughter was just diagnosed with celiac based on blood tests (her endocrinologist suggested it as she has a thyroid disorder). She is symptom free - her growth has been on target since birth (she's 50% height/weight), no problems eating/digesting/pooping, no behavior problems, no development problems (she's extremly smart and outgoing).     I'm new to this, but I hope this helps. You should have your pediatrician check your daughter's thyroid levels - TSH, T4 and T3, plus a whole thyroid panel (thyroid antibodies).
