About Me
One of my most prized possessions is a tattered, stained copy of a blue New York Times cookbook bequeathed to me by my late and beloved mother. I'm happy to include it on my ever-growing shelf of cookbooks. She and I shared a passion for cooking. And though my mama is gone, she sits on my shoulder all the time, and most especially when I'm in the kitchen doing one of the things I love most, cooking.

I don't know if this is a good thing but I kinda launched a new trend. Since that evening all my friends pretend to be celiac when they go approaching a lady. Paradoxically now being celiac is cool . BTW, tomorrow she'll come for dinner. Someone has suggestions for some romantic recipe? gluten-free, of course -

My doctor told me that as far as I don't eat them I can use whatever health product I want. Apart from toothpaste, I wouldn't be that concern about the presence of gluten in creams, gels and alike -

When I was waiting for my results I was almost terrorized by a gluten-free diet. So to beat the fear I tried to go gluten-free without even knowing if I was celiac. Well... it turned out it wasn't that bad at all. I felt better almost immediately and when I got the results, even if I was shaken, I was already prepared to face such a lifestyle change. And... -

Sometimes I get people trying to convince me that there no wheat in brown bread since it's supposed to be healthy. I feel that there is simply not enough education on the topic. When I was in Italy almost all restaurants had facilities for celiac people. A guy also told me that if you're celiac the government pays for your gluten free food which is available...
