  2. thanks for the reply, i guess it would be mainly for my sanity/confirmation! i'm really looking forward to trying out the diet hoping that i feel better. i was mainly curious why the two different labs yielded two totally different results. is it common for that to happen?
  3. hey! i have a quick question about the celiac panel. i was tested once and got back a positive gliadin AB (IGA) which was 32 with a reference range of <11 u/mL. i have since gotten an endoscopy and am waiting on the results from that. Since then, i have gone to my thyroid doctor who also did some tests and the IGA came back negative at 5. these were...
  4. Anybody have any thoughts? Why would one gliadin antibody IgA be at 32 and the "Deam. Gliadin Pep. IgA" read 5? are they two completely different things? Two different labs did the testing which were about a month apart. 5. what brand rice krispies? i don't think kellogg's are safe. that may be your problem!

IgA and IgG? is it the same as what i mentioned previously? my thyroid doctor did a test of these and they were in the normal range. just curious if they are the same thing and if so, why the # would be so different. my Deam IgA was 5 and Deam IgG was 1.

  9. hey, glad i ran across this forum. looks like a great group and some good info! so i've been really sick for the last 5 months or so. it seems to have happened (kicked in) after having a very bad flu and taking a 5 day antibiotic although it could just be a coincidence. most of the symptoms are gi related. lots of cramping, stomach noises, nausea (but...
