  1. Yeah, hyoscyamine is generic for Levbid, Levsin, some others, too, I think. When I was first put on it, years ago, it helped tremendously. Now, I feel like it doesn't work at all. Maybe I grew immune to it?.... My doctor tried Zelnorm one time, but I have diarrhea prevelant IBS, and it's supposed to make that A LOT worse, so I never took it (and was...
  2. Thanks--I'd never heard of dicyclomine before; I have an appointment next week, so I'll have to ask about that next week. Oh, the joys of having both Celiac AND IBS
  3. I have both IBS and celiac disease, and my gastro prescribed Pamine (the generic is Methscopolamine) to help with my IBS. I'm currently taking hyoscyamine, and I seriously doubt it's still helping me (I've been on it for 5 years). I hate trying new medicines because almost all of them make me nauseous, so I'm curious if anyone is on or was on Pamine?
  4. As far as cookies, pancakes, waffles, etc. go, I swear by Pamela's baking mixes: she has both a regular baking mix and a chocolate one. When I made the brownie cookies from the chocolate mix, my friends didn't even realize it was gluten-free. Pamela's also has prepackaged cookies that are great. Her line has been my savior for my sweet tooth since being...
  5. The nausea is pretty much all the time, though it is worse after I eat. I'm seeing my gastroenterologist in a week, so I'll have to ask him about the digestive enzymes--it sounds like they do wonders for some people. Thanks for the input!
  6. Bonefish Grill, which is also owned by Outback and Carraba's, also offers a gluten-free menu. If you like seafood, they're terrific! I've also never had a problem at McDonald's (they have a gluten-free menu on their website). Chick-fil-A also has a gluten-free menu.
  7. Great--thanks so much for the advice and info!
  8. Actually, I get this question a lot whenever I go through these bouts of nausea; nope, not caused by pregnancy.
  9. Thank you so much for your reply; I can't believe you've been nauseous for nine years--I'm so sorry. I've been dealing with severe nausea for a week, and I'm already super depressed and upset, so I can't even imagine nine years. I'm a big chicken about taking new drugs because my stomach is so sensitive--do you have any side effects on Compazine? Thanks...
  10. I'm in the same boat--I've lost a lot of weight due to my symptoms (diarrhea, nausea, gas, etc.) because eating just isn't fun (and this is after going gluten-free!), so I've been thinking about giving Ensure a try...you said it was gluten-free, but does anyone know if it is lactose free, too? I also am lactose intolerant. Thanks!
  11. Hi, all, this is my first post. First, I just want to say thank you--reading through all of your posts makes me feel not so alone...so thank you SO much. Here's my story: I was diagnosed with IBS at 20, after several years of "weird" stomach issues (occasional nausea and diarrhea). I was put on Levbid and felt 100% better. 5 years later, I started...
