We are always so excited to get to go to Omaha because of all the great gluten free options there. My very favorite is Biaggis. It is fantastic and they have a very large gluten-free menu. You mention that your husband does not have any belly issues but a host of other health concerns. Just a little something for you to maybe do some more research on....stomach isssues are not the only sign of gluten sensitvity be it just an intolerence or celiac. That is so sad that people we trust in the medical world are still so "uneducated" when it comes to celiac and gluten sensitvities in general. My own personal story (of course with all the other gluten related effects on my body) also includes years of being overweight. Not obese just weighing more than I should have. A couple of wonderful places in Nebraska that have great history with Gluten Free menus are Biaggio's (superb Italian food) in Omaha and Carlos O'Kelly's (Mexican)acrosss the state. I have been gluten free for 4 months or so and last night after coming in contact with some cross contamination I am in major pain! Hit quite quickly (in the restaurant) and even though I made it home before getting worse I woke up today with horrendous bloating and pains.
