Thanks. Yes, I'm 43 now, & the surgeries were from age 33 to 39. But, since I've been gluten & casein free since 3/2010, I've been feeling great most of the time. Hi there, I'm new to all of this. I have undergone some testing, have had 5 abdominal surgeries, and today I found out I am DQ2/DQ6. I have every possible digestive,as well as, some neurological symptoms of Celiac. My mother was diagnosed with late onset M.S. 3 yrs ago. Am I a Celiac?

Hey there! I'm so sorry to hear what happened at your Gastro. appt. I actually have my Gastro. appt. this upcoming Tues. & am worried about running into the same thing. If I do run into an unknowledgable dr., I'm considering checking out the Celiac Clinic at UIC (Chicago). I'm not sure, but I think that I read on this site that they're having a screening...
