  1. Sorry I have no advice but I wanted you to know you're not alone. I was actually searching the forum for the same advice, I'm 22 years old. After suffering for 3 years with stomach pains and sooo many of the other side effects of being gluten intolerant. I was finally diagnosed with being gluten intolerant. Was overjoyed to finally have an answer for all...
  2. I'm 22 years old. After suffering for 3 years with stomach pains and sooo many of the other side effects of being gluten intolerant. I was finally diagnosed with being gluten intolerant. Was overjoyed to finally have an answer for all I had been suffering with and excited to start a gluten free diet plan that would make me feel better. Problem is... I feel...
  3. Initially, that's how i noticed my pains at first as well. I thought i was just having really bad periods? Unfortunately the side pain, nausea, and leg aches got progressively more consistent and now I feel it pretty much daily. I've just been on a gluten free diet for 3 weeks so we'll see what the next cycle brings. Sure hope you're able to get on the right...
  4. I've been experiencing "growing pains" in my legs (although I'm 21) for as long as I can remember but they get much worse during my menstrual cycle. ALL my normal symptoms: stomach cramps, headaches, nausea, sharp pains in my left side, hand tremors, confusion.. ALL seem to get worse one week before and during the week of my period. Is this something that...
  5. I'm 21 and have very similar episodes of disorientation as well as sporadic chest pains, so I thought for sure I was having mini-strokes. But the doctor not finding anything, sent me home and just said I was just "stressed". Of course I was stressed! I'm hurting all over, disoriented and all this came on just 2 years ago without a clue as to why it started...
  6. I've only been off Gluten for 3 weeks. And although I feel much clearer in the head I'm prepared by all that I've read that the episodes of Amnesia, Stuttering, confusion etc. could happen for a while yet
  7. Ditto to all that's been said! I've recently been diagnosed, but for a long time I would have episodes when i was feeling confused, even have difficulty in speaking. I knew what I was trying to say but it wouldn't come out that way. The last episode happened three weeks ago before the diagnosis. I woke up from a nap and seriously couldn't remember where...
  8. Did anyone happen to see the Dr Oz episode aired Wed Sept. 1st 2010 titled Hidden Epidemic? A Friend told me she watched it and I've tried to watch it online but cant find a link that works!?
  9. Thank you so much for all your responses! This site has helped me me so much in just trying to understand what I need to do to go gluten free. At this point I'm willing to try whatever it takes to feel better. Because some symptoms are sporadic and I can still funtion throught the ones that are daily, Most people don't think anything's wrong, I've actually...
  10. Sorry I didn't mean to imply that I had not been to doctors. I have, but no longer am eligible under my parents insurance since i turned 21. I've tried to get on the oregon health plan but they aren't taking any one my age unless they're pregnant. The symptoms I described above (except for daily bouts of stomach pain and sporadic chest tightness) are...
  11. Thank you all! I found it after your help. Sorry for being such a dork!
  12. I've exhausted my money supply and my patience going to doctors. they can't find anything wrong other than low iron and vitamin D levels. The symptoms i describe other than the daily stomach and chest pains are episodic and happen periodically. Are the other symptoms i described uncommon to celiac or gluten intollerance? I'm a little confused. When I...
  13. Thanks, I'll keep trying! I've tried the last two days in a row to post on the pre-diagnonis Forum. Maybe that's a busy one and they haven't gotten to me yet
  14. Hi there! I'm totally a newbie so be patient with me I've tried starting a new topic 3 times now, but for some reason, It gets to the point where it tells me a moderator will view it and then it just redirects me to the main page and my post doesn;'t show up. I've made sure my profile setting allows posts but am i doing something wrong? Sorry!
  15. Hello All! I recently discovered this site when doing a web search to try and understand my Enterolab results. I don't have health insurance so to make an appointment with a doctor to explain them isn't feasable (I'm actually not very confident of their knowledge on this subject as well) So any help here would be greatly appreciated. Symptoms: Daily...
