  1. Do you guys get a lot of muscle pain when you eat wheat? I'm not specifically only talking about joint pain, more all over muscle pain or in a certain part of you body? Thanks
  2. Hi Every one! I found this awesome coffee shop with gluten free goodies in Jhb. They also has a section that deliveres. I haven't eaten there yet, but are really happy I found it. Try googeling in your area for restaurants, coffee shops. I think we all might be surprised to see what comes up. www.freshearth.co.za
  3. Nope. All my blood work came back negative. But from my own experience I can't tolerate oats and bread seem to make my skin itch. My gp said a lot of times the test don't pick things up even if you have it. I would really appreciate it if you can let me know what your test say, maybe it could be a starting point to test for. Are they just testing for...
  4. Please please let me know what the diagnosis is. It sounds a lot like things I am experiencing. I'm going to request that my doctor does a biopsy and maybe it will be a starting point that I can ask him to test for. Good luck, I hope this sorts it out for you.
  5. Some one posted this article in another thread. Read it, it explains the inflamtion that happens in the brain when celiacs eat gluten as well as memory improvement etc. I hope this is what you are looking for. Open Original Shared Link
  6. Thanks for the posts. My skin has been diagnosed with acne. It doesn't matter what my skin looks like Dermatologists(are the worst- been to 6) say all forms of skin problems are acne and food does not cause skin problems. Expect Exzema should not drink milk. They even refuse tests and wont' listen to other symptoms. Even when I got a bad reaction to homeopathic...

  8. Thanks for the info! Makes a lot of sense. I'm usually one the liquid ones for skin problems and it makes my skin brake out badly, I was always told the body is getting rid of toxins but it will only go better again once of the meds. The last time I was on these meds my skin starting itching severly and got a bad reaction after only taking a little bit.
  9. Please can you tell me the brands that you use?
  10. Does Homeopathic medicine contain gluten? Thanks
  11. This is a bit of a late response but my best advice would be contact your local/ countries celiac disease centre/ organization and ask for a list of doctors that treat this. A lot of times they keep information from patients on doctors that was good at treating their illness. Next stop contact universities/ see if one in your area has a celiac centre...
  12. What test, test for the celiac gene? And if I do that test and a gluten sensitivity test, will that be enough to establish that I have celiac? I'm not going to go for a internal biopsy. Had one before for other reasons, not a pleasant experience for my skin.
  13. I've just been reading articles that says celiacs struggle to absorb fats incuding healthy fats. Do you guys take extra omega supplements? I'm just so nervous I'll get fat as I gain weight supper fast.
