  1. I was wondering if anyone here has issues with milk? I tried lactaid milk and still have issues. Whenever I consume it, I get tightness around my abdominal area, anxiety/panic feeling and my chest feels heavy and I also feel little dizzy and weird. Then I have constipation and feel bloated. I also think certain types of milk cause my symptoms to flare up...
  2. Can leaky gut cause panic/anxiety attacks? I am gluten free for 7 months and I do get anxiety/panic attacks sometimes when I eat certain types of food but not really sure which foods exactly trigger them. The anxiety/panic feeling has gone down quite a bit since I went gluten free. However, I think some secondary intolerance is causing them. Could it be yeast...
  3. I'm on a gluten free diet for 7 months now.. When I was diagnosed I had lost about 30 lbs in just 3 months without even exercising! I had severer panic/anxiety attacks and felt miserable. Right now my anxiety has gone down quite a bit but do have symptoms sometimes. Also, I gained about 10 lbs back in the last 6 months, most of them gained in last 2 months...
  4. Thanks! On this website, under the "seasonings" section it says that yeast extract has gluten (barley), is it true? Any read something like this before? Open Original Shared Link
  5. Thanks everyone, I will take your advice seriously! My doctor told me to take B12 sub-lingual 5mg or 5,000mcg daily. He said its the highest dose he sells in his clinic. Do you think it is too strong to take daily? I was reading online that between 1mg-3mg B12 sub-lingual is recommended. Please advice! Thanks again!
  6. Thanks! My doctor also recommended the sublingual type and I've got it already. I keep having panicky/nervous like feeling and feel low sometimes and at other times I feel normal but not so great either. There's always tightness around my abdomen area. Does anyone have the same or similar type of experience?
  7. Hi, I've been on a gluten free diet for 6-7 months now and have been taking B12 injections every month and Vitamin D3 pills. Today my doctor went over my report and found out I am really low in Iron. Previously I was medium-low but now I'm low but not anemic (still not deficient). So he started me on Iron supplements and will do my tests again in a month...
  8. Thanks everyone.. the most worrying symptom I have is chest tightness and anxiety attacks after eating food (sometimes). I still have random bouts of headaches, constipation is better since I'm taking Trifala (herbal medicine given by my doctor). I'm also taking some digestive enzymes. I think I'm having secondary food intolerance symptoms. I've narrowed...
  9. I was wondering if you guys have any secondary intolerance too apart from gluten and how long did it take to resolve the secondary intolerance? Do you have more than one secondary food intolerance? Thanks!
  10. I still have anxiety almost daily even after being gluten free for 4 months now. I think you might be having a secondary food intolerance. For me, I think yeast is causing my anxiety so I'm eliminating it now and feeling much better but still not 100% anxiety free. Try removing dairy too from your diet!
  11. I too have had severe mood swings and anxiety. I still have them but I think I've now narrowed it down to yeast. Anything that I eat with high yeast content gives me anxiety, mood swings, constipation, head aches etc etc.. list goes on! I can tolerate a little bit but too much really screws me up for at least a week and I think I'm having it as a secondary...
  12. Some updates: I went and checked all the labels of gluten free chips and breads that I have been consuming and found out that all of them had some type of yeast. Most of them had at least yest extract. I was only eating rice and quinoa for 3 months and recently started to introduce gluten free breads into my diet (about a month or so back). Now I'm thinking...
  13. BTW nice to know that you're feeling better and getting rid of the allergies! Do you mind sharing how much time it took for you to reach this stage? i.e. getting rid of the allergies from the time of diagnosis! Do you maintain a strict gluten free diet? Have you got cross contaminated sometimes? Also do you happen to know the technical reasons why we develop...
  14. I think I'm fine with potatoes. So far I think tomatoes, yeast (maybe) and dairy products have been causing my issues but I'm still no sure!
  15. Thanks for the advice and consolation! My doctor didn't test me for different types of allergies. He only tested me for soy, milk, eggs and gluten. I was negative for all except gluten! Do you recommend I see an allergist too? Now I'm trying to make a list of foods to keep track. I think tomatoes, yeast or dairy so far have been causing my issues. The most...
