  1. I'm so excited that Save-On now carries Udi's bread! When I was in Seattle, I was able to experience it fresh, and recently bought a few packages (not cheap at $6.29 CAN each) from the frozen section in Save-On-Foods.   2. I got rid of all of my old spices to be safe.. Now I have Simply Organic, McCormick's (look for their green label and lid!). For Mexican, I use the Old El Paso mixes - Fajita, Taco, etc. So far, I've never gotten sick from spices, that I know of.. One thing to definitely avoid - anything from the bulk bin, including spices. Bulk bins are a cross contamination...
  3. A note on Smarties for Canadians: What Americans call Smarties, we call Rockets. "Smarties" in Canada DO contain wheat. But M&M's are gluten free! (Save for the new pretzel M&M's..) I was so excited that the big bag of Halloween candy we got contained a few different gluten-free candies - Peanut M&M's, Snickers, Oh Henry (I'm 90% sure on that...
  4. The regular Via coffees (decaf and regular) are both straight coffee and gluten free. I was nervous about the flavored Via packets, but after carefully reading the ingredient list, I finally tried the Caramel Flavor. It's delish and I had no problems with it.
