  1. Great post. I have been trying to figure this out too and can't quite get the information. I want to know if there are certain degree's of gluten intolerance. For instance, Are there people who can eat small splurges with no effect?
  2. Here is what you do= You buy kefir grains online. I ordered mine from etsy...you put the grains in a jar and two days later you will have kefir. It will start adding flora back in instantly.   5. Amazing everything disappeared I need to be more committed. It seems as though I start, and don't see huge differences.. so I stop. I either need to gluten up and test/or stay strict
  6. Beebs, I completely understand how you feel..It's as if you are in limbo..yet, to do all the tests take time, energy, money.. and having to regluten yourself for months :-( Def. a catch 22. Did you do the blood tests. trans. glut?
  7. 3 months **SIGH** I don't know. I want to quit gluten all together, however without the test I will never really know for sure for my son and he is experiencing some symptoms. Did you get the other tests or did you stop at just the gene test? Can you tell me what your symptoms were and what went away/how long?

I don't have the classic bending over in pain after being glutened. i also don't have diarrhea. I still have a couple of questions if you don't mind- If my sons symptoms are; motor tics, attention problems, repetitive thoughts....will it be a delayed effect? How long before your son/who has OCD felt the difference? Does it go away in One day, and if he eats a reactive food..will I notice a difference right away...

  16. TY for your kind response and support!!..It sure helps. Today is better :-) They just said they shipped my biocard, so 10 more days to go to load up. Even if it says negative, I will back waaay off gluten~ and eat clean. Thx again!
  17. I agree..that is what happened. I stopped for 3 weeks and then had to gluten all back up I need to keep my eyes on the prize (this test) but feel so bad.. just want to eat really healthy. ARGH... I don't look forward to pizza and bread.
  18. HELP! I need some encouragement or advice. I have ordered a test, biocard..and should be getting it twelve days from now. I am supposed to Gluten up. However, Not sure what allergy (gluten, milk, etc..) But, I am so Ill (nausea) that I hardly want to eat anything. It brings me joy reading and hearing healing stories~ recovering from pain and suffering..It can be SUCH a difficult journey as we know.   22. wow..a lot of family members! At least everyone can journey together down the healthy road, right? As far as bilirubin, Yes..I have read that it is high in those with Celiac. Many who go gluten free come down. I haven't heard of Gilberts synrome..will have to look that up.
  23. Your daughter seems like she is going through a lot. I too was diagnosed epstein barr along with endometriosis, all the other crazy symptoms. Yes, it is hard to pay for medical when you are too sick too work!! It's a catch 22, isn't it? ~ Just keep swimming~ that's what I tell myself! from nemo :-)
