  2. Hey, I do indeed love horses. I'm 19, message me if you ever want to chat :D

  3. Also I was wondering... I neevr officially got tested for Celiac because my Dr just dismissed anything I said about it relating to my symptoms, so I decided to go gluten free myself and see if i felt better, which I did. Because I don't have an official diagnoses, could a candida problem have the same effects?? I feel like I am at least gluten sensitive,...
  4. ahh, that's a good point, thank you
  5. I've been gluten-free since 11/21/10 Not very long, but I have been trying to get the hang of it. Problem is, I have been getting sick suddenly (this past weekend and yesterday) and I really can't understand why. For example, my mom made me a chocolate gluten-free cake. She put in soooo much effort to make sure gluten in NO WAY contaminated it, yet I still...
  6. Agreed, stop eating the gluten But I have ask, why do u need an endoscopy is your had positive blood tests?? Isn't that enough??
  7. Well you can always have scrambled eggs, or a fruit salad, or, if your like me and your not picky, I'll make a tuna salad-yes, for breakfast-I just don't really care if I have lunch/dinner food for breakfast. Maybe even google some breakfast ideas Personally, i love having a mix of fresh fruit for breakfast
  8. Thank you so SO much jenngolightly and tarnalberry!! You have saved me a lot of confusion, and a lot of stress. Happy Thanksgiving!
  9. phew! Thanks so much Kimbalou!
  10. Alos, I talked to my parents about cc, and how careful i need to be, and how I can't eat the turkey b.c of the stuffing. They flipped out on me, and gave me this talk about how it was all in my head, and that "your greatgrandmother often thought she was sick as well, very dramatic about things", and how we have no family history of celiacs so I can't possibly...
  11. As a college student, and when I'm at home, it can be extremely difficult for me to avoid gettign glutened since my household, and obviously college, is not gluten-free. My mom is just starting to understand how severe it can be for me if I eat gluten, and how real of a disease Celiac's is, especially after she read an article in a mag about how eating gluten...
  12. Oh my goodness thank you all so much for your replies and advice!! FooGirlsMom, I tried Atkins as well! It sort of helped, but it was what also helped me notice how I felt TONS better without gluten. I don't really want to make myself sick anymore, just to run a few tests which are not exactly reliable, so I am considering myself gluten intolerant, possibly...
  13. I guess i wasn't very clear about the tests part, oops! sorry! But yeah, my dr just will not listen to me at all. Ver frustrating.
  14. Well see, not exactly. My doc refused to test me for celiacs. She literally would not do it, saying it was unnessecary. Instead she continues to run tests for mono, thyroid, Limes disease, etc. and all come back as perfectly healthy. I become very sick for hours if I eat anything with gluten in it, which is what led me to my conclusion of Celiac's Disease...
  15. Hi Everyone! I just recently self-diagnosed myself, seeing as I had all the symptoms and the doctor ran literally tons of tests and said I was healthy, I tried gluten free for a week and felt great! Of course, the doctor still isn't convinced....whatever. I'v had symptoms for the past couple of years, and they have progressively gotten worse, especially...
