    T'is a paradox indeed Emmel! It's been one of the driest winters on record, the reservoirs have run low and so a (garden) hosepipe ban was put in place. As soon as this was in place it rained virtually EVERY day in April (it's still not enough though to top up the reservoirs for our water supply ) SOoo, as the ground is so dry & unporous...

    Did I confuzzle yooz??....we waaay ahead of y'all on the birphday front (eh Shroom ) Sadness today...not to dwell as this is The Funny pages but my old cat Lucy died today. She was 15 yrs & frail so not completely unexpected. She was a miserable old cat but I shall miss her!!
