I have rice flour, tapioca starch and potato starch. That's all I could find at the asian market. I just found out about the Gluten issue of mine so I haven't had time to get to the whole food stores

HELP!!! I'm wanting to make some gluten-free bread but all the recipes call for tons of different flours/starches! Does anyone have a good bread recipe that is simple enough for a busy mom to make?

Good Luck! While I don't have Celiac (still waiting on my blood test to come back) I to have a bad Gluten Intolerance so I know what I shock it is to have to suddenly change your whole way of eating. Because with this, its not like you can just have a "little" gluten.

We ran blood test for celiac as well. So, I at least have an answer as to why I've been feeling so bad.

That sounds like my daughters weight and height (she is six). But she has no symptoms and is healthy as a horse. My son has the mood problems, the tummy problems, the bowl problems (going between C and D) and constant nausea. The poor thing is already lactose intolerant (tho not bad) Was your child diagnosed Celiac or Gluten intolerant?

Did anyone else deal with Insomnia issues? I have NEVER had a problem sleeping untill the past 6 months (right around when the GI issues occured cronically)

That is AWESOME!!! My hubby will have to go gluten-free with me (I REFUSE to cook seperate LOL...and it was his Idea )and I'm hoping it will help his Diabetes and his Fibromyalgia

You're right. We've battled his weight issues and stomach issues since he was born (he's almost 5' tall and weights 130 and is 8 years old ) He's getting picked on now and after many long talks with the dr's office this is the last rout to take to see if it helps

I have an 8 year old who suffers many of the same symptoms I do but unlike most celiac children he is considerably overweight, no matter how much/little/what types of food he eats. I would call your GI doctor and ask if you can stop gluten or if they need you to wait. Mine told me I have to wait untill I'm seen next week but I can understand their need for me to do so! I hope you can get some relief soon. I know how you feel and its not fun

This sounds good! Where do you get pumpkin outside of the holiday seasons tho I may just be overlooking them but I never see them in our stores

My husband was on AmbianCR (he has fibromyalgia and diabetes) and he would get up and eat excessive amounts of food and not even remember it! His warning label from our pharmacy said if you have a prior tendancy to sleep walk or sleep eat or sleep whatever then the Ambien will make it worse (name brand or generic!)
